so the GPS wakelock thingy can be avoid by switching on the gps usage apps?

Yes.. Use apps like Facebook.. Switched ON your gps and go in the app, then u see the top bar with location blink blink till stop, then u can exit and now, your phone should be able to go deep sleep. I notice the gps wakelock appear only after switching between different router. Is this only happen to GB? ICS user can confirm that? icon_rolleyes.gif

LMAO... 0.4% @@ now I only realise... but flashed the Litening rom ... 12 hours with wifi on and 3G on...(9 hours deep sleep) left 48%~
2.5 hours screen on time...and Android OS consume more than Display... hmm.gif impressive? IMO not really tht good... I suppose custom rom + kernel can do better than this hmm.gif or I nid to wipe my battery stats in recovery mode~

anybody having GPS wake lock problems or couldn't get your GNote to stop getting "awake" from the BetterBatteryStat, should try uninstall Facebook app.
I noticed that the Facebook app is the reason of the phone waking up most of the time.

this only happens on gb. in ics i have not encountered gps so far. this is day 42 with ics tongue.gif

i have tried uninstalling fb, but gps wakelock is still there, not facebook's fault.

low usage 4 days.
wanna try it and see how true is that.

Once i have done the flashing and test the usage, i'll post the battery stat.
