Their call centre is no call centre, more like |no-call| centre if you get what I mean.. You won't be able to get through to anyone of them through calls, trust me. Been there, done that.  nod.gif
Lucky you bro. They might have parts left and that's why u manage to get it back lighting fast. But bear in mind, eventhough they say replaced, doesn't mean it's really replaced..  hmm.gif

Not trying to be bias here, but with your highest priced laptop, I think they will give you better service. Normal ones like my old S400CA, priced at RM2199, they lazy layan me.  whistling.gif

OMG! I should've searched this forum earlier.

My S400CA also got problem, still under warranty. Took it back to All-IT Ikano since August until now, no news. All IT told me it's RAM problem, and since it's soldered to the MOBO, need to replace whole MOBO. I asked them for options but no news from ASUS.

Decided to collect back my laptop and go to ASUS directly. Now i found the one in Lowyat only opens on weekdays?

What about the one in Digital Mall Section 14? Are they open on weekends? I didn't know there was one in PJ as the list I saw at All-IT only listed 2 centers in Low Yat Plaza. icon_question.gif

Thanks.

It looks like there are alot more service centres. I mean if they're on ASUS's website, they should be reputable no? tongue.gif

I guess I stand corrected, I called the number for E-Maintenance Sdn Bhd (Kelana Jaya) and call was directed to their call center. I asked about the Kelana Jaya and was informed they are no longer affliliated with ASUS.

Apparently, they only have 2 centers left, Lowyat Plaza (Royal Club) and Digital Mall, Section 14 (MyCom). I sent them a long message to their ASUS Malaysia FB page. I'm curious to what the response will be.

Hi, I am a customer who has purchased one of your products and I'm extremely confused with the information I was provided.

I have a non-working notebook S400C now and would like to bring it in for warranty claims.

Model: S400CA
SN: XXXXXXXXXXX

I sent a query through the online form and this was the response that I received.

Thank you for contacting ASUS Service Care.

I looked for the center closest to me and called them:
E-Maintenance Sdn Bhd
GL31, Block C, Kelana Square, No. 17, Jalan SS7/26, Kelana Jaya, 47301 Petaling Jaya, Selangor. (5.6km)
0377243495
Mon-Fri, 09:00-18:00

I was connected to the ASUS call center and when I asked about the center in Kelana Jaya, I was informed that ASUS is no longer affiliated with them. I was told that there were only 2 authorized service centers, in Low Yat Plaza and another one in Section 14 Digital Mall, PJ.

My question is,
a) why is the ASUS website still not updated and
b) why was I given a list of outdated service centers?

I'd like to clarify before I make a wasted trip and waste time if I go to the center and am informed I'm not able to claim my warranty.

Thank you.
