toyota ATF is good.. IMHO smoother than mitsu ATF. this is based on previous experience with 4G15, 4G91& 93. and ex office car 4G18 waja.

frankly speaking.. there is a lot of discussion about this and some say can and some say cannot. i've used it in prev car and its work fine..
there is also talks about fake toyota ATF even with the Can packaging and caused lots of Pv6 & Waja GB kong when using it.
maybe i use the original or just plain luck...

or maybe the GB kong after i sell the car.. that i dunno..

better stick with SP3

That auto gear oil was formulated for those mitsubishi 4-speed auto tranny such as F4A222, F4A223, F4A212
campro auto gearbox using F4A42X

a friend says, never put Dextron II or III as they will damaged the gearbox in a longer run. some are fast...

ya that's really confusing. then how about the quantity ? is 4L enough for persona or need 5L ? my last atf change i'm using mitsu diaqueen SPIII, which is only 4L, the foreman keep on say 4L not enough must use 5L if not will burn out my gearbox, after driving for more than 15k, the indicator still show between minimum and maximum.

errr. last time i change is using 4 bottle of proton ATF (4L) ur mech flush the entire ATF ? i mean by sucking the oil all out using some sort of machine. if like that, definetly need more than 5L needed. wink.gif

no oh, just unplug the nuts and let it drain, so using 4L is safe ? last time after change i need to check the ATF level every morning before go work, nowdays once in week to play safe, but it still show in between low and high

my mistake, it shoud b around 5L+..

according to my mech, if u change 4L, it means u r not fully drain out the gb oil.. it needs around 5L+ if u fully drain it..

4L is just on top.. wht i saw when my mech change the gb oil, he did drain out more than 4L..

i change my gb oil every 20k mileage
