Hello respected members,

I would like to ask some help as this is my first time to use international bank transfer to Maybank.

This is the form I needed to know how to fill;

IBAN:

SWIFT/BIC:

Its better to ask these quotes from maybank better direct from the branch you open the account at.

Actually, the easiest solution is calling the customer service hotline. This is the info they gave me:

Swift/BIC: MBBEMYKL
IBAN: [your 12-digit maybank account no.]

The rep told me Maybank does not use sort codes. The above info will be enough for the international transfer.

Hope this helps anyone else looking for this info.

Hi just for future reference and to prevent mistake, the IBAN is not only the 12 digit code. IBAN consists of up to 34 alphanumeric characters, comprising a country code, two check digits and a long and detailed bank account-number.
