oh nice thread! this should be the right place to pose my question..

can anyone suggest a good HE dc motor which is small, lightweight, high rpm, preferably not more than 6V supply?

i'm planning to embark on a small project, a flying robot, as small as possible.. i'll be needing 4 motors as rotors to control flight..

or is there any alternative to dc motors?

RS makes good steppers, with high res. If i'm not mistaken, they also manufacture some good stepper control modules which can be driven by 5V (PIC), saving you the trouble of building an interface circuit.

Lets go to Robocon everyone! biggrin.gif

For those of you who entered, but did not make it to the internationals, it's ok!

Just put on that yellow robocon t-shirt which is gathering dust in your cupboard and come along! icon_idea.gif
