Why use RFID as key locater while u can use it as a key.

How about RFID door opener?

You need a simple microcontroller,Rfid reader and card, selenoid and a little bit programming. Everyone of your family members can have different ID onthe RFID card to open the door.

Cost about RM500.

Want to ask, anyone knows if any simple room temperature sensor that connect to PC USB or DB-9 ? Also comes with simple software that interface with it to provide room temperature.

Range: 0-60 Celsius
Incremental in 0.5-1.0 is enough

You can do it with PIC or Arduino. Do And learn at the same time.

It's so simple. Using temp sensor connect to analog port. A little bit programming then you have it.

The best part you can be proud of yourself.

BTW you can look at the data from serial monitor if you are using Arduino.

Hobby, enthusiast and try helping others too.

For me this is a challenging hobby where you have to combine your skill and knowledge.

The results?

It may be frustrating sometime but the success story worth more.

Bipedal?

Not building but Hack an Isobot using Basic Stamp2 but the Ram is limit to 2K.You can watch the video on my blog.
Not many people doing it yet. I have tried with Pic but theres some issue with the serial protocol.
If many people have same interest we can form an Isobot hackers group.
To make it walk it's a tough pain job doing it alone. For Isobot owner I have to say that to make Isobot is not as easy as you play with it.

Yokatasan any video of your robot?

Use this calculator ..

http://ledz.com/?p=zz.led.resistor.calculator

The USB current is around 100mA to 500mA...

Buy more range of resistors to be able to adjust the brightness of the LED...

Hi stan001 thanks for the order. Send it already. by the time I'm typing this you should
already receive it.
