Hey guys, I'm building a very simple dc generator. However the voltage output is too low, below 200mV. How do I increase this to light up an led?

By Faraday's Law the voltage is proportional to the number of windings and the rate of the change in the magnetic field.

So you can add windings, increase winding rotational speed or/and use a stronger magnet at the same rate to increase the voltage.
