Hi, ive just installed some new fans. DEKA brand. Apparantly, when it runs at full speed, its quite obvious the fan will not spin "stationary", it sways and i feel it annoying and physically unpleasant. Is this the fault of the contractor who did it? Is there any solution for this?

Ask the place wherer you get to call the DEKA SC and they should able to align it back

zephyrus9999, have you mod the rod which attach your fan to the ceiling?

You can check hook mybe loose ... if loose need to install new hook ..if hook ok... align that rod and retighten screw.

just switch the placement of the blades until you get it steady. Use a measuring tape, measure the height of each baldes tips to the floor, switch between the highest and the lowest. Once you get it balance the fan will not swing. I have all my fans very steady whatever the speed. You can judge how bad the swing is with low speed, not high speed.
