QUOTE(JustcallmeLarry @ Jul 9 2015, 03:03 PM) Hi, today i missed a call from a company i applied for. I missed it this morning and till now they didn't call back. When i called back the telephone operator answered but i don't know the name of the person that called me and what position. What should i do now? Will they call me back or they already went on to new candidate??? Call them and ask for the person that is in-charged of employments. Don't have to specify name or position cause you really don't know. Be friendly and they will redirect you to the person

QUOTE(JustcallmeLarry @ Jul 9 2015, 03:13 PM) So you recommend i should call back again? Yup, if you really want to grab the opportunity then go ahead lol. Whether you got chosen for interview or your application was declined due to no vacancy, its better to check and make sure. . .. ... Unless you don't really want the job lol. QUOTE(JustcallmeLarry @ Jul 9 2015, 03:27 PM) I want it, actually this morning i just miss the call by 1 second and ever since my phone is on me just waiting for them to call back. Thought they will call back after lunch but still no. I tried to call back but i scared it will be messy and trouble some bcs i don't know who made the call, after pass here pass there. Should i give it a day if no call by tmw afternoon then call back or just call them now??? Or email them again? Nah, it's fine. It's your courtesy to call-back and confirm with the person in-charge since you missed it. Normally there's only 1/2 person in-charge of employments so they should know who to transfer to. If you're worrying about other candidates, you can call now before they leave from work.

QUOTE(JustcallmeLarry @ Jul 9 2015, 04:04 PM) Ok thanks i'll give them till 4.30pm then i call again. But usually do they call back or they only call you once then move on? They won't really 'move on' but just assuming you are not available at the moment, they will just continue with their own task at hand in the office. Call to remind them of your presence will then be able to talk about the employment. It's your politeness to call back once you missed the call man, after all you are the one seeking the job.
