Hi friends (age is not a factor),
Just a piece of advice, don't memorize any common interview answers. Just be frank but do practise it occasionally to make it look believable. Questions like, tell us about yourself? Seriously, we don't need you to tell us about your education background from a to z or where you are currently living since we have your resume. Instead, tell things out of the resume... perhaps you could focus on telling your hobby? For example, travelling might allow us to perceive you as an outgoing individual. Look at the job requirements... tell hobbies related to the job. You could even tell about your university experience, on how working as a team or problem solving methods which have helped you in tasks. How do you carry out your task either meticulously or otherwise. Yeah, if they ask you a question and you can't answer on the spot... tell them 'that's a good question' while trying to figure out how to answer.
In reality, any tom, d*** or harry can get a job. There is no real specifications for a resume but when writing it... do think rationally. Put things that matters. For example, putting common biodata like nationality, or your ic number does sound funny since either one shows you're a malaysian. Moreover, putting ic number and date of birth is funny isn't it again? since it either one shows your d.o.b as well. Seriously, these spaces can be used to put other things instead of allowing the pages added to your respective resume.
Believe me, if you want that job, you'll get it. It just depends on how sincere you are. If you want the job for the sake of money, forget it! well, you may get the job but how long will you last? Anyway, all of us will eventually work, it just takes time. While you're still unemployed, do some charity work, it helps during the interview and your resume writing process.
Lastly, i take no credit in these writings, if you really want to thank, pls add more info or inform the friends in this board regarding job openings in your company or elsewhere. All the best!
Signing off,
Kz
p.s. as for love^gm, your questions? only you can answer;
1. Why did you apply to the company in the first place? Its' reputation or
desperation for a job?
2 What makes you special? Well, what does your teachers/lecturers/friends/mom
and dad say about you?
For the rest, since you applied for the job, it is only right that you try to modify the question and answer it by yourself cause 'you hold the key to your future'.
