Here's a sample for you to refer. Please note that when you send a thank-you email, keep it short and direct to the point. Do also include in your interest of the position because this is your last chances to sell the employer that you are the perfect person for the job. I encourage you to send it within 24 hours after interview.

---------------------------------

Hi (name of interviewer),

Good morning!

I would like to thank you for the time spent to discuss possible opportunity between myself and (the company name) yesterday. I found that the position is ideally suited to my background and interests. If given the chance, I assure you that I will give you my best effort in making this an effective position within your company.

I am eager to bring my previous experiences and passion to your company. I am convinced the knowledge, skills, and experience I've already achieved make me the best candidate for the job. Again, I appreciate your time for the job interview, and I look forward to be a part of your company in the near future.

Thanks and Regards,

(Your name)
(Your contact number)
(Your email)

**Remember to address the thank-you email with the correct spelling and title of the interviewer, as well as the proper spelling of the organization.

can i wear silver/grey pant rather than black to the interview ??
with white shirt ofcoz .. smile.gif

Dear Mamet,

Remember, what you wear will reflect yourself and how people see you - in this case, the interviewer. In terms of interview attire - my advice for male candidates usually:

*pants - solid dark color - black, navy or dark grey (so, it is ok to wear grey, as long as it has dark tone)
*long sleeve shirt - white (try lines instead of plain shirt) or coordinated with the pants
*belt - if you wear dark grey pants and white shirt, belt must be solid black or dark brown
*shoe - coordinate with belt

GOOD LUCK for your interview!

QUOTE(booby @ Jan 17 2010, 08:05 AM)
is it appropriate for guys to wear earrings to an interview?
*
Hi booby,

Anything that distracts your interviewer from evaluating you based on your skills/experience/background, then you shouldn't go there. In a professional environment, guys with earrings will not be perceived well. Keep it simple, if you are a man, avoid accessories - nose rings, unusual piercings, earrings, necklace. One ring is enough, if you are married. smile.gif

Extra note:

Watch is a must! Do you know that the personality of a man can be translated through his watch? So, wear a professional/executive looking watch, no need to be expensive - and AVOID those with cartoon design, please..

Good luck for your interview!

Hope that answered your question.
