I am attending an interview soon and the following are some documents requested by the company (informed through email in advance), which I am reluctant to provide at the moment, as I am not yet an employee to the company, but only an interview candidate
1. photocopy of identification card - I can show original copy on the spot if they doubt my identity.
2. photocopy of pay slip (latest 3 months) - this sounds quite ridiculous to me
3. 2 pieces of passport-sized photo - do HR really need candidates' photo, if that's the case, I guess the pile of candidates' photo will be more than the staffs'...
If the above are requested when I appear for the interview,I will inform that the required docs will be provided if I were employed by the company. However, for this round, they requested in advance of the interview, so if I do not wish to comply 1-3, does it mean I have to give up the opportunity or just pretend to forget to bring those required docs on that interview day? 😁
Any advise is much appreciated.
This depends on how you handle the HR liaison. Typically I will tell them that I will furnish these details at the later stages of the interview process1. photocopy of identification card - I can show original copy on the spot if they doubt my identity.
