Hello everyone,
I'm just wondering what would be the best way to reply if the interviewer asks about the other companies that you have applied to/are going for interviews with ?
I'm thinking it would be best to just be as brief as possible, and avoid specifying which companies. But I do remember 1 company where they specifically asked 'Which company exactly?' despite me trying hard to avoid the question.
How do you handle this question ? I'd appreciate any feedback/suggestions.
*PS : this is of course in the case of a fresh graduate, where you will definitely be applying to multiple companies. For experienced people I suppose that you can just avoid the issue altogether by saying "No, I have not applied to other companies" ?
Just be honest - tell them that you have applied for other companies too and if they want to know more details .. give them too...I'm just wondering what would be the best way to reply if the interviewer asks about the other companies that you have applied to/are going for interviews with ?

They won't take this against you. I interview fresh grads all the time - so I can tell you from my personal experience. hope this helps and good luck

As a fresh grad - they will (should) only ask you based on what you have learnt during your studies.. what should i expect for second interview? as during first interview not much technical questions were asked as the interviewer told me, im still a fresh graduate. ??. but we do hv some chit-chat.
I am not sure what position this is for .. maybe more details can help to answer further.. good luck
