y interviewers like to ask "when did your course finishes" and so on ... i said my graduation ceremony was in december and the whole of january im was having my holiday. So do i get a bad image that i never do anything productive after my graduation because i enjoy too much?

You can avoid all this hassle by "CONTROL" of the situation. Be realistic to yourself and not to the recruiter. I had seen tones of incompetent and unproductive Human Resource that causing candidate hassle although they are MNC company. Wasting your time and expenses, how about your annual leave if you have one!

P/S: Think like a recruiter or employer if you want to be the "Winning Candidate".
P/S/S: Control the Interviewing game by asking what the intention of the interview of the day, dont just be a follow goat.

Best of all.

very true indeed, its nice for you to mention it nod.gif .

Nvm, now that i had learn my lesson, cause this was my first experience encountered to be called back for the third time. It was my mistake for not asking about the purpose to go back again.

I wouldnt mind even if you call me back a thousand time but show at least some appreciation to me, don't just call me back for a 15 minutes session and ask me come again next time. wtf? mad.gif if petrol and toll price can claim i dont mind la. whistling.gif

Hi everyone! I need advice...
I will have an interview at this company, in Penang soon.
Meaning I have to fly from Sabah to Penang for this interview.

Should I go for the interview?
Do you think I have the higher chance to get the job?
Since they insisted on calling me for an interview. Plus I'm across the pond.
I know I have to give the best impression to make the interview a successful one, so the flight tickets wont go into waste.

Help! T_T

Added on February 12, 2010, 11:14 amOh yes another thing I'm worry about now is...
this situation might happen:

_______
me: Hi, Im here for the interview.
receptionist: interview?
me: yes
receptionist: are you sure?
me: yes Im very sure. Your company called me last week.
receptionist: Im very sorry, must've been a mistake.
me: what? are u kidding me? i fly ALL THE WAY HERE!

(dramatization only)
____
Im worry now... lol
Im sorry guys...
just sometimes its good to assume things like this.

Is the company reliable? Cause if its a MNC than u shouldnt be worrying too much about it.

If they request you to fly over, u must say that its quite inconvinient for you to travel through and flow and hoping that the interview session is not only with the HR ppl, but also with the project manager that you are gonna work with. Basically covering stage 1 and stage 2 of the interview process.

Added on February 12, 2010, 11:06 pmi just wanna ask, will the company inform you that you've been rejected for the job after attending the interview? hmm.gif

How to give the best answer for the question why you want quit your job? Let's say the person is jobless at the moment.

just be honest but never ever criticise anyone in the process of explaining. That's something you must hide to show your professionalism.

income not enough, don't need to repeat because 10/10 people's mind are the same.
