my interview was last week thursday.. HR called to ask bout something last tuesday.. still waiting for further news.. but the interviewer did ask me to wait for 1/2 weeks..

thanks for the hints.. but still a 50:50% chances..

1) asking when you can start after confirmation - HR did ask me this after the interview
2) negotiating about your expected salary (if it is in their range) - didnt talk about it but the expected salary i included in my resume was quite a big jump from my current basic salary
3) calling back really quickly after the interview (some company may appear really large but if they really wanna hire you, they will call u ASAP) - HR called (havent confirm giving me the job) 2 working days after the interview..
4) Waiting period is depending on the job position available, if you are able to know how many vacancies is empty and how many people are interviewing, you can roughly know how long you should wait. - they are hiring approx 20 ppl but im not sure how many they had hired/interview..

i think i will give them a call maybe today or tomorrow..

Nandeska, I decided to end the wait and drop the HR personnel an email. They replied saying that they are currently processing my package.. Guess it's a good news?

The Sr manager actually said I could fit well in the team based on my personality n experience and the manager had agreed on it as well..

Not exactly. I been into this situation before and ended up I didn't get the job.

cos this is quite a big company, one of the big 4.. and i really want to join in cos it will help a lot in my career progression..

if company said they want to do background check first, is it a good signal?
what can make candidate fail the background check?

Hi guys, Im currently in a dilemma. I went to an interview last Friday and I asked when can I hear from them. The interviewer said in 2-3 days. So the problem here is I am currently having an offer from another company and I said to them Ill give the answer this Friday. Should I ask the first company for answers today since tomorrow is ph? If I dont get the job, then I can accept the second one and not make them wait. Please help. Thanks!

Hi guys and gals, hope you can assist me. I already went for a interview with the manager of the department i apply for. But just receive a call to go for another interview tmw to get interviewed by the HR manager, i thought usually it is 1st step is interview by HR then call back to interview by Department manager???

If kena like this means what? And what should i prepare for tmw interview? Bcs i already got interview by department mng so i thought now it is just wait for a yes or no answer, but they calling me for another interview?
