Is it normal to have tests for one and a half hour follows by 30mins- 1 hour interview? Would this look extreme to you?

I just did my tests in 1.5 hr i.e filling in profile, personality test, essay writing and IQ test follows by 1.25 hr grill & drill interviews After the tests, I was already layu .. IQ test wasnt simple and all were mathematics and subjective.. pheww..
After 9 years of working in 2 different industries, this was the first I came accross. Is it becoming a trend and the company is posing the hard to get? Anyway high IQ test doesnt reflects an employee can perform well in job. Anyway for those going for interview, make sure you bring along your calculator and a piece of rough paper. You never know if you need it. This post has been edited by Jenn77: Nov 5 2009, 02:32 PM |
