I think that's a good move. Starting slary is really just a starting point. If you think you'll learn new things and boost up your resume through the company, just go for it. and yeah congratulations and good luck!

Have any of you during the interview stages had to do a field report as an assignment?  Weird, huh?  I applied for a sales related post at a local MNC.

I have attended the 1st interview last week and today received a call asking me to go to an assigned area and come out with a report.  Would you guys do it? All my friends advised me not to since I had more to lose than to gain.  There's no allowance whatsoever and need to take leave, in short spending time and money.

remember to bring a pen- sometimes the receptional say, i just have 1 pen, or the pen is a bit out of ink

dun be panic

watch the interviewer (eye contact)

your character must suit the job, eg sales must be outgoing, out spoken

dun be late , come out early for taxi, bus, or parking lot

if u are late, remember to call to show that you are responsible type

ask more info abt the company and the infor of the job to show that you are enthusiastic with the position

smile,.... to make the inteviewer like u

dun tell if u are frm rich family, driving luxury car, cos they prefer someone to work longer

....i am ex human resource exe interviewed 1000 ++ candidates

Is communication more important than work experience? So much emphasis on communication and body language right.

ace princess,

from the 1 week respone thingy....sorry to say that, I'm afraid that they did not shortlist you...

i have attended tons of interview and this is really a common feedback...."Thank u for your interests in choosing this job as your career, we will keep you posted within a week time...", its so damn common, that common sense will tell u that,if they really need ppl, they will contact u within that week!

If they contact u after 2-4 weeks later, means that the 1st candidate has rejected the offer and u're the 2nd or 3rd candidate on the KIV list...

Dunt bank too much hope on that 1st interview, just treat it like a lottery draw...u may or not get it... go for other interview and whatever the previous interviewer ask u, try to remember it and try to formulate a new answer for the next interview....

just my 1 cent advise

Life sucks!!!

I dont know if this question has already been answered.

Can I go to interview with long hair?

My hair cover my ears and back of my neck. Maybe that's the reason why I was not hired by any company yet?

Just want to enquire you guys opinion, if the interview will let u you know the result by the end of the week or next monday usually means they wont call u at all rite?

Or standard answer, will give u a call tomorrow, means u failed the interview rite?...
