Yes and yes.  Basically, you and your company can terminate employment within 24 hours unless stated otherwise.

You negotiate counter offer before you sign the offer letter, not after.. You can renegade on it just like they can terminate but you spoil the relationship lo I guess..

Fuzzy,

Yea, i better wait for the offer letter from SG office first.

Then only i talk to my boss here at KL office.

Certainly, i dont want to spoil the relationship.

Anyway, it is scary to know that company can ffk us after employment being offered. ohmy.gif

Good luck. It is incredibly rare for that to happen though so don't worry too much about it.

Hello guys, I have questions again sweat.gif

How should I answer the interviewer if he ask me whether I'm applying for job at other company?

Of course I do try my luck at other companies but will it imply that I'm not serious enough to join his company if I give him my honest answer?

Say yes. Politely let them know only another 1-2 job applications that you applied but nothing is concrete yet. Even if there's some concrete news, say no.

Seriously if you say no I think it could be worse. Who else in the world would apply one job and wait for it to come? Please laa, this interviewer also stupid wan. Ask this kind of obvious questions.

It's not really a big deal la. If the company reject hire you cause you forgot to insert the subject, you should be glad. Usually this kind of company micromanage people, down to every single detail. And don't bother to send them any email mentioning that.

A follow up email on application status during working day would more than sufficient.

Just wondering, which industry you planning to venture into, and what position you are taking up?

You should send them a follow up email as I believe this happens last week.
