QUOTE(faceless @ Jun 21 2012, 09:29 AM) Not necessary but it is a hot favourite. The first question is usually, "Tell me about yourself?". Good luck yes i agree that the first question is always "tell me about yourself". and i really don't know how to answer that even after so many interviews

U hv a lot of skeleton in the closet ?

U hv a lot of skeleton in the closet ? i think you have misunderstood. the reason i said i don't know how to answer that question is because i think i can make it more interesting and there is room for improvement on what i can tell about myself. and i didn't say that i have a lot of things to hide.

Seriously, the "tell me about urself" is not something interviewe really wants to know. it is to make u start talking, break the ice.
whatever interviewer wants to know about urself is already in the application form.

QUOTE(bearboss_85 @ Jul 9 2012, 07:10 AM) I've got an interview coming~ It's my first interview after 3 years of working.. The company HR gave me one form which is in "word" file. I'm kind of wonder whether I should fill in the form by hand or by typing onto it. I'm quite in dilemma because the job required someone that is "computer literate". But there were saying that if you type on the form, it may show you that you are a lazy person~~ Please comment~ TQ~ Typing using computer is lazy?

You can be subtle about it. Say "I resign because my values were in conflict with the company's practices. I decline to comment further due to P&C nature of the operations." The interviewing employer will have respect for your integrity and ability to keep your mouth shut in respect of your previous company. Hi all, I just passed F2F interview with hiring manager and dotted line director last week. And now they are arranging a Tele-Presence interview with Director based in US. 1. Would like get some idea what should I expect from distance higher level managers since most of the basic questions have been asked in F2F interview 2. Is it advisable to I repeat the same questions? Thanks in advance
