Other than that, what are the benefits and what is the fresh grad pay today? anyone willing to share? thanks in advance.

1.       Graduate Trainee (Post Silicon Engineer)

Qualifications

You should possess a Master or a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering with four to six years of experience as a design engineer. Additional qualifications include:
- Linux* environment and/or Shell* programming, scripting (Perl* and/or Tool Control Language (Tcl) and/or Python*), knowledge of verilog RTL design, digital design, basic circuit design      
- Good communication and writing skills
- Good team work skills
- Work with multiple stakeholders and/or groups across Intel sites and/or geos
- Background in Automated Test Pattern Generator (ATPG) tools and/or Scan design and Programming skills would be an added advantage

Responsibilities

Post Silicon Solution Engineers are responsible for the design and development of solutions for the post-si space.   He/She will be responsible for integrating, enabling, validating, deploying and supporting the solution for the SoC products of interest. Tasks will include: interfacing with the Design for Test (DFT) team to understand the DFT implementation to determine if any changes are needed to the flow (for example: diagnostic test content, changes to fail flow, changes to fail file conversion); interfacing with the test content team to ensure additional diagnostic test content is generated along with production test content; setting up a process to archive all the collaterals needed for the on-line diagnosis flow from the Design for Test (DFT) and/or Automated Test Pattern Generator (ATPG) team along with traceability to pattern tuples included in the production test program; working with Product Development Engineering (PDE) teams to ensure fail flows are properly defined and bought off on; working with sort Engineers to ensure fail flows are turned on to collect fail information at sort and the particular overheads characterized; setting up and validating the full on-line diagnosis solution and supporting usage by end-users.

Graduate Trainee (Software Development Engineer):

Software Development engineers involves the design and development of software solution and tools for Intel product test development.   As a software development engineer, you will be designing and developing new test solution and software for the test conversion, validation, test library and test suite.  The solution involves the software development in Linux/Windows .net, object database design, parser/compiler design, parallel programming, software performance and optimization, VHDL/VerilogHDL simulation, and tester and test method environment which meet product development and validation requirement.



Qualifications

•             Good electronics skills

•             Good programming skills in C/C++, Perl or knowledge in software and solution development

•             Graduate Trainee* position: Candidates must have minimum CGPA of 3.6 or 1st Class Upper Honors in Electronic/Electrical/Computer Engineering/Computer Science. Fresh graduates with less than 1 year’s working experience are also encouraged to apply

speaking of interview, there was a time when the company CTO from america phoned interview me at night lasting about an hour asking about my experiences and skills..i passed the interview and got hired and i am very delightful about it considering my level of english not that good and my qualification only second class degree with very low grade in english subject  ..i guess experiences and skills really that matter huh!

Me - The truth and only reason i'm leaving is because we have no increment for the past 3 years

I would like to tell the interviewer my honest answer. How do i put that in correct and proper manner without badmouthing my current employer?

The one cardinal rule that you must observe at all times during your interview is this: Don't ever, ever, ever badmouth or criticise your previous/current employer!

You can answer the question along the lines of: "I need to move out of my comfort zone and expand myself professionally and personally. I've been in my current company for xx years and while I love my job, I think it is time to explore something new but still within the industry. I would like to see my job scope expanded, taking on more responsibilities, and leverage on my existing skills, hone them, and learn new skills along the way."

I'd advise you not to mention salary matters until they have confirmed they want you.

Halo~I've been called for interview with Prent on the next week for fresh design engineer position. Anyone willing to share about what any kind of questions will be asked during interview and what should I prepare other than that? Interview by group or individual? Any IQ or technical test?
Beside that, is the benefits and pay good for fresh grad?
