if smooth of cos low.. med still ok with some tweak..

Tested with 9800GTX+ all can put high setting except shadow with 1920 x 1080. FPS around 50-60

i think fraps is the most common tool

the game itself has the feature....press (Alt+F or R) can't remember...have to try an error

yes i use frap

I think other hardware might also contribute in helping out with the smooth framerate
my sys spec is i5-2500k, 8GB ram

fraps and then virtualdub . because of the freakin size.

ctrl + R then fps will show

better use xsplit...direct convert to mp4 or flv for upload. or can use as direct streaming provided you have good upload bandwidth.

You may try use MSI Afterburner, it is free and compatible with all other brands, it has a built in video capturing tool, on the fly encoding too ! No need to recompress using virtualdub
