verb is reconnoitre. reconnaissance is the noun.

another misuse of the better language. same like the word tinted used in the wrong form everywhere.

Yes. It is about the same meaning with 'usha'.

The origin of 'riki' (write as recce) is from reconnaissance. Meaning 'search' or 'survey'. Popular among military personals. But the word 'usha'? Maybe it is from the word 'usher'?? Thank you.

usha = staring / checking without need to involve much movement (i.e: usha awek / tgk awek)

riki = checking with need to involve movement (i.e: riki harga kat lowyat / check harga kat lowyat)
