After the first two games of the season, City are top of the table and even the most die-hard Red has to admit they are looking good. Roberto Mancini's team are beginning to look like the finished article, but following a four year £360m+ (excluding wages) spending spree then it's no real surprise, is it?

According Garry Cook, City's CEO, the club's spending is unsustainable - quite so. Having looked at the numbers and having compared them to Ferguson's spending over his entire 25 years at United, City have splashed out over £90m more in the last four years alone. That comparison is quite shocking as it really does bring City's recent spending into sharp focus.

Both Manchester club's have yet to complete their summer transfer dealings and so the figures are likely to change. Note: we haven't included any figures for Carlos Tevez, because they are not available.

it's hard to cut him some slack when he goes around criticizing how bad the physios at United treat him, which causes his contract at United.

and apparently its the same case at City as well.

Chelsea currently looking to overhaul his squad. so there's vacancy on forwards role. but without manager (i take it RDM is uncertain) how can Hazard be sure he's on manager's plan?
United got numbers of forwards, but player of his quality could easily slot in and dispose others.
in City, he need to compete with at least 2 superior players in Silva, Nasri (which i think have similar attributes /positions /role). but City got a best team, so silverware prospects are better.

its obvious. but at this point, its said Hazard was agreed to all 3 packages deal. on sidenote, United are far more marketable club, so Hazard have better financial prospect for his own lucrative sponsorship /endorsement. plus, United using Nike (same as Hazard)

management stability /tradition

SAF is known for man management and handling the youngsters, and his future are more than secured. RDM future are questionable, so Hazard signing will be rather club's /RA's signing than manager's signing. RM future seem secured for another season as long as he deliver.

i believe nasri choose mancity over us.. instead of arsenal refusing to sell.. i read bout it few days ago.
as for cleverley, hernandez and wellbeck.. they're ok..but not exactly world-class material. especially cleverley, highly unproven.. based on his few appearance could say he is quite good..but we wont know until he got a full season.

All im saying.. manutd have been missing the world class singing im craving for.. i remember the days we use to spend big on ferdinand, veron, ruud, andy cole, dwight yorke.. most of this players are seriously world class when we bought them.. and we had spend a lot on them.. even tho some might not be successful, but we bought and surrounded them with youngster, i dun really recall man utd having the mentallity of buying young players and grow them into world class beater. The only one was rooney and ronaldo to be honest. Rest of all the young good ones were actually from the academy itself. so whatever bullshit man utd telling us now, its crap. I think to be honest we are heavily burdened by the glazers loan.. until they're gone we will be a selling club..buying young.. see them world class and sell them for a record fee (aka ronaldo).  some of u might disagree with me, but thats how i see it now. even kagawa, i mean he might be good.. but he isnt exactly world class material.. u dont see madrid n barcelona jumping on queue do u? hahah
