Hehehe. With all the money spent. All you can do is to get the same point and only beat United by goal difference. Malu betul tongue.gif

BTW congrats to them. As for United, all we need to do is to purchase a central midfielder. We are lucky got beaten by them by only goal difference with addition of some recently promoted young players and 2-3 oldies. whistling.gif

stop talking about money you dimwits.

fact is, Mancini managed to make a team and managed to make them bond together as a squad. money is not everything.

Malaga and Getafe are both under Middle Eastern control. and both did well, but did not win the championship with the given financial support they have. they could buy buy buy.

so what if I have a damn Ferrari. it's not like I'm gonna be the best immediately when I have it. I need to learn how to use it first then only I can be the best.

hence the money talk is redundant. United fans who keep saying "Man City bought the title" are idiots. You cannot call yourself United fans if that's your only main point, not even looking at our own team's performance in the EPL.

Dude. Do not compare Citeh to Malaga and Getafe. Both of the team don't spend big. Compare to Chelsea at least.

Man City four year spending spree more than Fergie's 25 year outlay....

QUOTE
We all know about Manchester City's spending power and yesterday they sent out another ominous warning to the rest of the Premier League when taking three points from the Reebok; the 3-2 scoreline flattered Bolton somewhat because Sergio Aguero missed two absolute sitters.

After the first two games of the season, City are top of the table and even the most die-hard Red has to admit they are looking good. Roberto Mancini's team are beginning to look like the finished article, but following a four year £360m+ (excluding wages) spending spree then it's no real surprise, is it?

According Garry Cook, City's CEO, the club's spending is unsustainable - quite so. Having looked at the numbers and having compared them to Ferguson's spending over his entire 25 years at United, City have splashed out over £90m more in the last four years alone. That comparison is quite shocking as it really does bring City's recent spending into sharp focus.

Both Manchester club's have yet to complete their summer transfer dealings and so the figures are likely to change. Note: we haven't included any figures for Carlos Tevez, because they are not available.

Mancini is a great manager no doubt, but City should have finished 6-9 points above us with after all of the big spending.

it's hard to cut him some slack when he goes around criticizing how bad the physios at United treat him, which causes his contract at United.

and apparently its the same case at City as well.

His statement on United was very brainless. He scored a goal in his debut and he thinks he rule the world. Hahaha

football matter /playing time
Chelsea > United > City
he's looking for no 10 role.
Chelsea currently looking to overhaul his squad. so there's vacancy on forwards role. but without manager (i take it RDM is uncertain) how can Hazard be sure he's on manager's plan?
United got numbers of forwards, but player of his quality could easily slot in and dispose others.
in City, he need to compete with at least 2 superior players in Silva, Nasri (which i think have similar attributes /positions /role). but City got a best team, so silverware prospects are better.

financial matter /wages /repay Lille /self marketability
City > Chelsea > United
its obvious. but at this point, its said Hazard was agreed to all 3 packages deal. on sidenote, United are far more marketable club, so Hazard have better financial prospect for his own lucrative sponsorship /endorsement. plus, United using Nike (same as Hazard)

management stability /tradition
United > Chelsea > City
SAF is known for man management and handling the youngsters, and his future are more than secured. RDM future are questionable, so Hazard signing will be rather club's /RA's signing than manager's signing. RM future seem secured for another season as long as he deliver.

i believe nasri choose mancity over us.. instead of arsenal refusing to sell.. i read bout it few days ago.
as for cleverley, hernandez and wellbeck.. they're ok..but not exactly world-class material. especially cleverley, highly unproven.. based on his few appearance could say he is quite good..but we wont know until he got a full season.

All im saying.. manutd have been missing the world class singing im craving for.. i remember the days we use to spend big on ferdinand, veron, ruud, andy cole, dwight yorke.. most of this players are seriously world class when we bought them.. and we had spend a lot on them.. even tho some might not be successful, but we bought and surrounded them with youngster, i dun really recall man utd having the mentallity of buying young players and grow them into world class beater. The only one was rooney and ronaldo to be honest. Rest of all the young good ones were actually from the academy itself. so whatever bullshit man utd telling us now, its crap. I think to be honest we are heavily burdened by the glazers loan.. until they're gone we will be a selling club..buying young.. see them world class and sell them for a record fee (aka ronaldo).  some of u might disagree with me, but thats how i see it now. even kagawa, i mean he might be good.. but he isnt exactly world class material.. u dont see madrid n barcelona jumping on queue do u? hahah
*
Not necessarily. We are no longer that way and we don't need to be. SAF is applying something into the team and we are in the midst of rebuilding our team. If not, SAF would have preferred Berbatov way ahead of Wellbeck. Stick with the younglings for a decade with one or the most two big signing per season and we'll go far.

Rafel/Jones/Smalling/Evans/Fabio/Cleverly/Wellbeck<---- these young lads have bright future with United,

imho, the are only several world class player in united now

rooney, valencia, vidic and evra

It depends on how you define world class and where they get you to? Barca's full of 'world class' players but won nothing last season.
