QUOTE(Leo the Lion @ May 5 2012, 01:01 AM) Advantages S3 over HTC One X: so htc one x advantage is the design ya. because android we can change launcher..like me i use go launcher on all android1. Better CPU 2. Better developer community support 3. 3 storage variant: 16gb, 32gb, 64gb + microSD slot 4. Battery replacement. 5. 4.8" over 4.7" screen <-- doesn't really matter actually. 6. More features than HTC One X has offer HTC One X over S3: 1. Better design (still depend on people preferences). 2. Sense UI which is alot nicer than Touchwiz UI. Screen...is quite subjective. Tried the HTC One X, it has natural colour, but suckier black level. My Galaxy Note uses the same HD Super Amoled, great black colour, contrast, but it is pentile matrix (I don't really care bout it...) This post has been edited by mar90: May 5 2012, 01:04 AM |

Still, our first impressions of the Gorilla Glass 2-coverd display are extremely positive - it's even less reflective than that of the Samsung Galaxy S II and offers outstanding image quality.

QUOTE(wcypierre @ May 5 2012, 01:47 AM) no it doesn't. it uses corning gorilla glass 2, same as what galaxy s3 is using. A piece of good glass on two flagship devices = http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_one_x-4320.php damn this give wrong info |

QUOTE(douglas_tong @ May 5 2012, 01:51 AM) Im keen to know the battery life for daily usage, whether it will last long enough anot. Guess have to wait till its available. ya hopefully optimized well and with that 2100mah can last a day. i think s3 target market is to s1 users? and those who like flagship phone like the one xActually the design is not that entirely bad. It just doesn't feel premium, feels like teen spirit Added on May 5, 2012, 1:57 am QUOTE(wcypierre @ May 5 2012, 01:54 AM) no, its my mistake. oh.hahaa nevermind then This post has been edited by mar90: May 5 2012, 01:57 AM |

QUOTE(nakTT @ May 5 2012, 09:15 AM) That is because you are not comparing apple to apple. One with HD (the dot colour is a lot smaller) the other is a lot lower resolution (lower PPI count). Meaning that, you need to compare HD Plus with HD no Plus that have about the same PPI. pentile is more battery saving. One other thing about Plus and no Plus is that the Plus one save more energy than the one with no Plus. Meaning you get better quality display plus longer battery life. |
