by common practice from previous samsung devices, i believe telco and SEP will have the exclusive rights to launch on first day, followed by other shops.

then u must see why senq get it later lo.. bcz of the service senq provide ma, which include extended warranty + easy payment plan and also the chain network store, will make their service more appealing than normal small hp shops.

if senq is able to sell on first day, then y ppl will go SEP to buy since it's the same price and no other promotion??

so the SEP and telco always aim for the first adopters while senq covers up the following crowd that doesn't wanna buy at RRP without other "benefit"

after reading so many of your complains about the back button.

i think i can conclude it:

1) all yr phones are faulty and u r unlucky, go find samsung technician to fix for u

OR

2) your finger got problem, go find doctor to fix for u

or

3) your eyes got problem, unable to hit the back button correctly, also go find doctor to fix for u

i know, i know, u will say u have no problem with other phones. but as u mentioned, the ip4s back button is on screen, hence yr soft-button issue is invalid. then u will say, u have no problem with htc phones, oh well.. guess u r very lucky with yr htc phones then.

u are addressing the back button problem as if it exists is all samsung phones. But i myself used a few different models, and many of my friends do own a samsung phone, i never heard any complains about back button before. Even now i ask them do u feel any problem using the back button, most of them say no. Occasionally maybe sometimes not sensitive, but that's because they didn't hit the button correctly cz it's hidden when the backlight is not on.

and to answer your question. no info on any launch event yet nor any pricing info. hope this saves up yr time to look in previous posts.

it's confirmed long ago. even thou the sensor on HOX is an old samsung sensor used in s2, but the lens optic apparently is better. claimed by some ppl who did comparison. try look for my post previously with albums comparing both phone pictures.

with the zero shutter lag and burst mode n stuff, i'm actually satisfied with the camera ady. any other will come in as a bonus. just hope it keeps the noise level down, as i see most of the indoor pictures are quite noisy (expected), probably due to the aperture disadvantage that requires to crank up the iso.

sharpness and detail i'm able to tolerate, as long as it's sharp on my screen, and sharp when post to facebook/twitter in thumbnail and slightly larger form, then i'm ok.

Concerned a bit on the colour rendering too. any other serious shooting i will bring out my dslr instead.

promoting accessories is not always SME's priority. and i'm curious on how much they will sell, and does it come with a car travelling adapter.

turn off the backlight? yes. disable the buttons? i don't think it's possible with stock.

it can/might be done thru custom kernels and custom roms. I guess u will need to flash it to vanilla ICS to use the softkeys.

does BSI sound like a solution to u? but both s2 and s3 are using BSI sensor, just that they didn't mention it for their s2. Theoretically, with the new sensor, it should improve, but not much. given that the small sensor, it will still perform bad under low light no matter how big your aperture can open.

no no no, i mean for the wireless charging kit. it's better to be able to wireless charge at home and in car. don't wanna buy separately for two.

anyway, wireless charging (magnetic resonance induction) maybe be a cool feature. but if the charging time is slow and the price is very high, then i see no point buying it (esp when it's very expensive)
