depends on where they wanna post it.. tongue.gif

I have seen more food pictures on facebook taken with handphones instead.
however in websites and blogs, mostly dominated by better cameras of course.

Not sure? Open your facebook, click on picture tab and do the counting. brows.gif

clearly you have never done powerpoint editing with a dual core, be it on a nexus, or a sgs2.
I used it, and I dont have time for it to jerk around, when time is money to me.

Noone knows about the camera quality on the s3. At least none of us here.

If you are doing those "eating out" shots, a normal one will do, what are you gonna do with it is clearly not for professional usage.

On the plus side= Ive seen more people using their dslr or compact cameras taking food photos than just a smartphone. prove me wrong in that essence.
*
I see 80% of ppl posting food photos using their phone camera and instagram brows.gif

and I was not referring to taking food photos

there comes some times when you must have to take a photo when walking by something special is happening and not having your camera with you

thats why mostly all DLSR users have a compact camera in hand in case something like that pops up so they could just use the camera they have in their pocket, with having a good camera in your mobile phone , this way you won't be needing a compact point & shoot camera.....

obviously ur needs and requirements for a smartphone is different from others.
camera is one of the important considerations, especially for ppl who wanna capture the moment in the best way possible.

the better question is why wld u need quad core?
why wld u need s pen?
wtf!
*
ya becuz the phone is almost become the most personal thing ,maybe spend more time with it than your partner or gf...so if the camera no good right...realy a turn off...

it's like you buy a sport car but the headlight is yellow type not the xenon hid type...

you show off show off your s3, the quad capability la, the "true multitsaking" lah, this n that, then when asked of the camera...then u said...oh the camera ah, camera not so good la...hehe

beside, nowadays cuz of social networking era n lifestyle (before eat also must photograph first), phone almost is the equivalent of a full time "part time camera".

A smartphone is different from a cameraphone.

If one requires such, there are always benefits and costs. If someone can make a smartphone with a camera as good as a cameraphone, wouldnt it defeat the sole purpose of it instead?

"Capturing the moments" as in posting it on facebook? if it is at that rate, my sgs2 would look the same as my nexus as it is to my hox in picture quality as compared to my friends ip4s. What will make a difference is comparing it to my hasselblad.

i think them just feel that having a good camera on the phone is a good bonus, nobody wud complain having a good quality cameraphone icon_rolleyes.gif

That is because you are not comparing apple to apple. One with HD (the dot colour is a lot smaller) the other is a lot lower resolution (lower PPI count). Meaning that, you need to compare HD Plus with HD no Plus that have about the same PPI.

One other thing about Plus and no Plus is that the Plus one save more energy than the one with no Plus. Meaning you get better quality display plus longer battery life.
*
There is no HD Plus phone yet, how to compare!??

What I am saying is: Note's display is as good as (or better than) that of S II. Therefore we can expect S III's display to be of similar quality.

Samsung must have good reasons not to equip S III with HD Plus display. Maybe the technology is not there yet. Or maybe it will cost a bomb.

BTW, the page I link to says this:
PenTile screen technology is favored for several reasons, but primarily for two: Its low power consumption compared to RGB stripe displays, and its ability to achieve an HD resolution on an AMOLED screen.

Theres a term called specialty in each category.

previously, there is rumor said s3 plan using ceramic material instead of plastic. why samsung offer ceramic only for GNote in US but not for s3?
