beg to differ. s2 material may look cheap but check any review they wud approve the s2 is tough and can withstand pretty much roughness than it appears to be.

i wud probably say s2 chassis is stronger n more durable than s3. but i sure finger cross that the s3 has a equally good chassis albeit being in a different way.

im not sure about htc software support but , the samsung unofficial updates update like hamsters multiplying babies...and custom roms like club mushrooming in kl or kk area...

i bet no official update can match that. therefore, my different opinion.

featherweight is significant to me as if the phone is part of you already. not that, im weak to carry a phone...but u know what, i wear the office shirt short/long sleeve, the front pocket if u put a heavy phone, it will bulge down like super sagging breast...no matter if u r mr universe, it is very daunting. but the s2 is just very acceptable

beside, whatever material u make of it, stil use casing, so what , sometime hard to figure what phone model cept for iphone4? is cuz ppl wrap their phone like christmas present. sleek design lik the HOX kah not, also obscured due to casing/condomed/flip casing...thats my observation n comment of all these while...

i dono why samsung chose a glossy surface if it is a finger print magnet.

lastime when i use screen protector, i use the superclear....it was a nightmare to wipe of my SP EVERY goddamn hour!!! then i changed to matte SP was a tremendous relief for me for a while, then i cudnt stand the inferior clarity...beat d point of using amoled screen so i use the glittering crystal SP, a balance btw good clarity n very little wiping of fingerprints. I hardly clean the SP now.

so prints magnet is terrifying...i seriously wonder what is the s3 material is good for particularly the hyperglaze ???
minimal prints is ok, just not the every 30mins-1 hour kind...

No hang issue for me s2 non g. Custom rom checkrom evo lol i knw. I dont change rom nemore, no time play new customisation.. Busy w girls n money n vroom vroom vroom lol but im damn happy w my s2, no lag too for 9mths cuz i manage well no updates or streaming i keep moat all light n apps under 50

u mobile wher got big like the big3 orh...u mobile paling2 pun is medium telco cuz only scavenging the leftovers by the big3 hehe jk

actually without scrutinizing the screen myself, as long as the reviewers said the phone scr is a marvelous to look at n more natural , less saturated than the s2 super amoled+, i can imagine it ...n feel delighted as i do feel the s2 is quite saturated. a more natural n equally stunning amoled HD (hd i suppose is sharp and crisp n good color), im quite satisfied n not concern abt the screen d.

pentile or rgb discussion is smtime a joke to me.

if im not mistaken, pentile is more power saver than rgb right? if it gentle on the batt, it's another plus point for me. im well sure amoled HD is not much less than S-LCD2, the former one is a amoled with HHHHDDDDD anyway kan. if the screen cannot use (contrary to s3 reviewers), that phone can throw already OK

Added on May 9, 2012, 1:13 pmyesterday i accompany a fren goto senq buy htc one x 2 years warranty, rm 2019 - 50 (mbr)= 2019. free a white htc BT ear set worth rm 199. all retailers outside dont hv tis limited freebie i think.

2 yrs also longer than outside retail so i think buy fr senq is not bad n value for money.

i didnt opt for extended 2 yrs warranty total to 4yrs cus i was joking wit everyone there incl my fren. bot my s2 9 mths ago w/ 4 yrs warranty n now less than a year i want to chnge phone already >.< wats the point 4 yrs...2 yrs is good enuf. but if warranty <rm100, can consider also, so when sell time, its also an added value. who vendor can give 3 yrs warranty lest 4 yrs ya.

n the service is good with smile, n sofa, n when u browse around teir shop for other electronic appliance, u feel like a boss...not like some vendor, u play longer also theyir face different liao..


ps/ im not impressed pun with the S-LCD 2...super amoled+ is just too great to keep up. but with s3 virtually infinite tech goodies...amoled HD is bloody gd enuf !!! LOL

ps2/ just now my fren who get stock he said sandisk sdhc 4gb now only rm16, 8gb <rm40...said price drop damn fast cuz gonna phase out soon. if 32gb less than rm80 also not bad lio...

i also have 4 samsung phones. all no problem so far.
my sis SGH i780, ma 's GT 8500, dad's Gio n me s2.

all this talk about the special ability of white htc 1x changing color to blue and the increasing forummers liking of sgs3 glossy hyperglaze pebble blue make me cannot wait further to want to hold and enjoice in my hand the real sexay babeh !!

dont worry they likely will change. so many jumpship fr other brands to s2 .

tis is a momentum the serious advantage for sammy for it to able reach greater heights ,sale. and the one that propel s2 to stardom...cuz its a herd mentality effect, the same one that made iphone so blardy popular...bcuz everyone is using iphone, so with little reluctance, the minority peers will conveniently get an iphone too simply becuz her friens r using iphones only to crystalize what they complained earlier came to real i.e. connectivity n screen size among others.

now its also hapening to sammy, my bestfren gf split btw htc n sammy but eventually went wit sammy becuz majority of their colleagues in office r using Gnote or s2...even the one lady using htc is complaining about her htc LOL.... so in order to hv more sharing n conversation with his gf, my best fren who is more on htc 1x likely go for s3 becuz his gf and his best fren ,me, is getting s3 ...

beside, everyone said the s3 poison is very very powderful...

i tot d sammy ceo also said the S voice is a natural sound recognition, dont rmb exactly, but he did mention -natural right? if its not gimmick, it should work BETTER than siri...

so far, i believe sammy dont rly lie to the face about the model technologies. so there's stil abit integrity of what he says, work.

myb someone should pinpoint what in s2 did or did not work cuz in s3, many first hand reviewers said the smart stay among other hardware/software "miracles" did work n they love it . so i guess whats your take

instead, reviewers say it's nice to carry/hold due to the comfortable rounded edges. reminds me of the old iphones design, unlike the i4, the hard edges arents comfortable to hold. i did post a image the striking similarity of s3 wit the old iphones

if 4 hrs screen ontime also takes 10yrs.
my daily display time about 3-4 hours. i charge my s2 whenever i want, usually during my idle time, about 6x daily.
i doubt many can use as much as me.

it is not impossible if i go for white this time. somehow the back looks miles better in white than dark blue.

nvr before to consider owning a white phone before. but the s3 white seem very sleek n class the more i look at it.

if hyperglaze material can dirt proof really well, really can consider unless there's an inherent gayish element.
