curious to know why separate unit is better?

Commonly washer+dryers can only dry less than half what they can wash.

Each appliance is a specialist in the task its required to do - obviously washing laundry and tumble drying laundry are very different jobs.

If space is not a concern, then get separately.

*
of coz i will not go for Beko if to buy separately, i highly recommend Electrolux.. but if u want combo.. then go for Beko..

Any recommendation on dryer? We have a baby, both me and my wife have to work, normally when reach home, clothes become humid.
I don't really know how to choose on washer dryer or separate.
If it can handle comforter would be better, as now I still bring my comforter outside as my washing machine cannot handle. No place to dry also.
*
then u shud invest in dryer.. most of the dryer has delicate function which suitable for your baby clothings.. if u needed to dry comforter also.. if thick + king size.. u may need at least 9kg dryer..

Direct drive machine eliminates the need for the belt and reduces noise; which means less part to be replaced. Wear and tear should be similar to normal belt type machine; however, direct drive machine from what I observed, seems to be better at balancing during spin.

Which brand was recommended to you by the salesman? Even Hitachi has Direct Drive front loading machine. LG was the pioneer in direct drive.

I am using Panasonic Inverter belt driven FL, its very silent during wash; however, is very poor at balancing clothes especially when doing 10kg full load wash.
*
balancing? u mean shaking or washer tends to 'move' slightly?

Any model you would recommend? 9kg? I think it would be very expensive.
Do you think 7 or 8 kg sufficient? I am just having queen size comforter.

what kind of place u stay? condo? landed? where u plan to place the dryer? good air ventilation?

We r staying in an apartment. We have a yard that is current putting my washing machine and some additional space left.
Air ventilation is ok I would say.

u can opt for cheapest type of dryer.. the venting dryer.. Electrolux EDV7051 (7kg)

http://www.electrolux.com.my/home-applianc...dryers/EDV7051/

it normally prduce some heat, which is why u need good air ventilation..

for indoor, u can opt for condenser or heat pump dryer.

Hai guys.

Right now,I have top loader washing machine 16kg LG buy it last year
And dryer electrolux 7kg EDV7051 also buy last year,

Maybe after raya,I will stay my new apartment,
Really confuse right now...

1.Its better buy combo or not..if I buy combo...I think cannot get washer 16kg...

2. Now I survey like brand samsung washer and dryer...cost RM3000
8kg wash 6kg dryer, its that reliable and dry cloth as well,

What brand dryer  can save electric cost, also can put more kg and
*
since u already bought washer and dryer, why want to buy new again? use first lahh..

anyway, most energy efficient is Heat Pump dryer, but it is the most expensive.. panasonic/electrolux good with that..

my 4 years old 7kg Condenser Dryer (Electrolux EDP2074PDW), last two weeks when press to start drying it shows error EHO. trying to google what it meant, everywhere saying and indicating "problem with the power supply".

when i plug the power cable to another wall socket (not the same looping socket), the error gone and can use as usual.

today i try on same socket, no problem now..

so, what could be the issue?

called electrolux customer service, they said also try with another socket if still cannot then need to replace motherboard.

The quality of the socket terminals (loose contact/wear and tear) and also sometimes the work quality (many times i have seen idiota that install by screwing on the wire insulation instead of the exposed copper) can make the voltage check become EH0.
*
Probably also the lower quality wall socket (bought from mrD1Y)? but not cheap though..
Any recommendation?
