My ELectrolux EDV600, less than 5 yrs starts to breakdown, it will spin halfway then stops. Starts emitting burnt smell, need to switch off then wait awhile then restat/continue again..

Hey guys, currently looking for a washer dryer. Any recommendation?
I do not have much knowledge in washer dryer...  Plan to get one for my wife... as she always complain rainy day hard to dry out bed sheet and it's quite heavy to hang for dry also. Oh, you make me remind of what my friend told me. He said washer dryer cannot dry the clothe completely still have to hang it for dry... Will take it separately, thanks for the recommendation. Btw, beko and electrolux which one is better? since windy recommend beko.

Any recommendation on dryer? We have a baby, both me and my wife have to work, normally when reach home, clothes become humid.
I don't really know how to choose on washer dryer or separate.
If it can handle comforter would be better, as now I still bring my comforter outside as my washing machine cannot handle. No place to dry also.

Direct drive machine eliminates the need for the belt and reduces noise; which means less part to be replaced. Wear and tear should be similar to normal belt type machine; however, direct drive machine from what I observed, seems to be better at balancing during spin.

Which brand was recommended to you by the salesman? Even Hitachi has Direct Drive front loading machine. LG was the pioneer in direct drive.

I am using Panasonic Inverter belt driven FL, its very silent during wash; however, is very poor at balancing clothes especially when doing 10kg full load wash.

Any model you would recommend? 9kg? I think it would be very expensive.
Do you think 7 or 8 kg sufficient? I am just having queen size comforter.

The quality of the socket terminals (loose contact/wear and tear) and also sometimes the work quality (many times i have seen idiota that install by screwing on the wire insulation instead of the exposed copper) can make the voltage check become EH0.
