My friend went to dentist at Ampang recently because teeth hurt when drinking cool water, the dentist recommended to do crowning without removing root because the dentist said remove root only if it is pain, after treated cost 1000, but still having same problem, she checked and do filling at other teeths cost 350. Again problem still occur. Now she blame it is due to teeth grinding problem, and she suggested to use Sensodyne. My friend very angry as she has to upfront recommended Sensodyne instead of crowning.
What is your comments on this and any recommendation for good dentist to solve this problem.
Thanks in advance.
Severe sensitivity means the nerve in the tooth is easily triggered by hot or cold stimuli due to thinning of the outer layer of the tooth. There may be many causes of this but i would recommend taking an xray, do a root canal and solve the problem for once and all. Sensodyne helps, but its only a temporary solution. The moment your friend sips a cup of coffee, the problem arises againWhat is your comments on this and any recommendation for good dentist to solve this problem.
Thanks in advance.
