Got my first mechanical keyboard from bro Cex.
It is a CM Storm rapid fire, cherry blue. So far so good, even killed Diablo with it.

I am looking to replace some of the keycaps, any pointers what will work?

Thank You smile.gif

Thanks bro Human10,

The WASD keys really look cool, with texture some more.
The escape keys are also nice.

The spacebar with the pictures not so keen.

Just wished taobao had an English option...

CM QFR is one nice keyboard and affordable too =D

ps* Where you bought the Evoluent mouse?

PS** another vertical taskbar user,  icon_rolleyes.gif  but I'm left positioned
*
Yeah my next keyboard will be a WASD once they start doing TKL. Apparently end of this year.
Meanwhile looking out for any old mech keyboards, esp IBM M1.

Got the Mouse from my workplace, got it shipped from US (inter-office shipping, so its free). Also have another one, ver4 in my backpack for office/travelling.
They do sell those in Amazon for roughly USD90.

Yeap, vertical is the way to go esp for wide screen. smile.gif

Try looking out for Fellowes brand of wrist rests. Bought them like 8 years ago in lowyat.
I still have the mouse wrist rest. The keyboard one gone though

I am tempted to order custom key caps from http://www.wasdkeyboards.com

Shipping is roughly 10 USD. Anyone have any experience before?

Yup, I found out the hard way after buying Logitech G110 for RM270 last year.
Was uncomfortable typing and after some research found that the keys are non standard. No wonder i kept typing the wrong key.
After 2 weeks gave it to my brother in law as present tongue.gif

PLUM 104MX Cherry Red is selling at RM200+- shipped from China.. and yes, it is a mechanical keyboard

Thermaltake Challenger series ain't mechanical, they're gaming keyboard™ by marketing people, with lots of features and blings.

Thermaltake Meka series is mechanical. nod.gif
Seriously, price doesn't justify whether it's mechanical keyboard or not...

So this parcel come in this morning, and opened it.
trusted seller, warping the parcel with many layers of bubble warps......
WTF so many layers of protections still can knock a dent on the corner of the box???
how did they deliver this?

And there is another box in the parcel! A set of orange keycaps for it!
but..... it lack the number pad keys, because I do not need them for my 87 keys keyboards,
I ask the seller to take them out and sell them separately and give me discount  notworthy.gif
The seller give me RMB 200 discount on that  tongue.gif

So here is the keyboard itself, the 10th anniversary Realforce,
it's 2nd batch, so you can see there is no 10th anniversary logo at the top right corner......

btw the LED light is Red, I will upload some photo of it later. maybe with the orange keycaps on.

I m typing on it right now biggrin.gif Low-noise, it feel like red switch, much smoother and softer compare to the HHBK Pro 2,
if I would describe it with comparison to cherry switches, the HHKB Pro 2 is like brown mx switches, and the low-noise version is like the red switch.......
*
Awesome man smile.gif Congrats.

Btw how much was the total cost including shipping in RM?

RM 1754.00 for the keycaps and the keyboard,
to ship from China, Spanthor (败家馆)。
can imagine I wouldn't be having any movie in cinema,
no more cake in cake house, no more extra expenses in anyway,
until a few months later...
*
Wow, well like they say the cake is lie.

Anyway awesome keyboard smile.gif

I'm not sure whether you were kidding, but I have sent you a PM about a possible sale.

I didn't know it is 6 years old... thanks, but I don't think I can get used to the ultra-compact layout, and the letters on the black keys will definitely trouble me.

Hi Epiguru, I got your email on the IBM Model M, still digesting the info. Will reply soon on my preference.

And thanks for all that info, very good education. smile.gif
