Wireless Mechanical KB? That is rare..
*
QUOTE(noobandroid @ Aug 8 2012, 02:00 PM)
you wont get a wireless mech keyboard anywhere, all are hard wired
*
I'm sorry, my bad for not knowing this.
if it is hardwired, which one suit for entry level + price ya?
backlit not important. build quality + tahan lasak important biggrin.gif

Hmm.... get the best one from the beginning,
or else you will get one after another,
until you get the best one at the end.

at least that's what I experienced.
*
Hmm.. coz i am afraid that best (expensive) would be out of my budget.
So looking for some best bang for the buck mech kb

CM quick fire pro(from rm275) or rapid(rm255). I bought a quick fire pro cherry blue from lingloong for rm275. I just love the click click clack clack sound of the blue.

quick fire rapid does not come with numpad.
*
Thanks for the recommendation, from the youtube the click click clack clack sounds seems loud biggrin.gif

yup, it is not recommended if you planning to use it in a quiet open workplace. your colleague will kill you after 2 hours of click clack.
*
hmm.gif then others than this quick fire pro. any other alternative to choose from a?
the look of it seems sexy laugh.gif

Just don't buy the cherry blue version. I think cherry brown is quieter but it costs extra @ rm299.
*
okay. i think brown will do just fine. thanks for all the explanation!

It depends on individual preference. I'm happy with just a KeyCool87 MX Red. Of course i want to get my hands on those high end stuffs like Topre but my financial status don't allow.  cry.gif

Want sexy looks? mod keycaps IMO brows.gif
*
as long as it suit own preference, then it would be just fine. high end doesnt mean best suited for us though hehe
Keycool mx red typing seems good. But not full kb ><

mod keycap is too high lvl for newbie like me

if it is a mkb, just change the keycaps, order from wasdkeyboards.com or elitekeyboards.com or mechanicalkeyboards.com

i see your keyboard layout different, need ISO layout instead of ANSI layout
*
order the keycaps from wasdkeyboards.com, elitekeyboards.com, mechanicalkeyboards.com
or
order the keyboard (with korean layout) directly from there?

couldn't find any korean keycap from their website sad.gif

your keyboard layout is totally awkward after i compared it, the enter key and backspace key are non standard size, you'll have a hard time getting keycaps anywhere, might as well you go back to your korean seller, non standard keyboard layout is not very favourable
*
Ah, you mean the layout of the pic i posted just now ya?
Actually i just grab it from wiki. So it is just a wrong example i guess
Sorry for making it confusing smile.gif

if you want to have the best customizing for mkb, suggest you go US layout keyboards, which are standard layout by most suppliers

I think this one is the US layout keyboard right?

yeah, the more common keyboard layout, at least if not US layout use ISO layout, mkb commonly comes in this 2 layout, other consider non standardized layouts

Added on August 9, 2012, 12:50 pmQuickfire pro can get locally, no need from korea import
*
thanks for the confirmation.
Yup, but local version has the korean character keycap?
if buy locally(without korean character) then buy keycap set from somewhere else maybe more expensive?
Not too sure though unsure.gif
