i'm waiting for something similar to Pro edition, which is 45g uniform or 55g uniform, i think that will be more suitable for our strong fingers. tongue.gif

agree.. I'd rather have a uniform switch weight rather than ergonomic weighted...

Are there any Corsair K60 users out there? The price of the K60 is pretty tempting, the K90 has too many macro keys that I don't really need.

It depends on how you treat it. If you are talking about normal usage, then no. Unless you remove the key caps and fiddle with the bulb tongue.gif

Did you know that corsair K60 and K90 are not full mechanical keyboard? hmm.gif means some of the keys are still using rubber dome switches... especially their whole top ESC row. shocking.gif

Human10 also pointed out it's selling around USD80.. true story bro, Corsair K60 and K90 is way overpriced in Malaysia. Distributors are playing games here, not all those tax or whatsoever. smile.gif

conclusion?
1. not full mechanical (hybrid? this is bad hybrid IMO)
2. pricey (almost the same price range as other mechanical keyboard such as leopold or ducky? see option 1)

it all depends on the user - you. tongue.gif
if you don't have enough desk space, a tenkeyless board should do. else, go for the full size.
as for the switch, i suggest you try it first (in the shop or pm kaiserreich for the travelling numpad test) before regretting getting something which you don't really like.

but filco is really expensive..considering it doesn't have LED backlit compared to Ducky Shine.

Filco has better quality right?

backlit is not a big deal if you don't look at your keyboard to type / during gaming session / etc.
if you want something which is more wallet friendl (LOL) and promising and with blingy backlit, you can try to go for the KBT Race from kaiserreich. smile.gif

IMO back lit is also a distractions if your screen is close to the keyboard.....
even wordings are somehow distracting, I think that's why Topre has black on dark gray keycaps on dark gray keyboard.

And btw, cyclone, how are the enquiries? are you able to get those Realforce "Silent" and color keycaps or not?
you have to let me know the full price earlier, I can't spare that much money on short notice......

well there are times that u gotta look at the keyboard at night without lights on..can always turn it off. But Filco LED-less is about the same price as Ducky Shine...is the price difference justifiable?

another problem for the backlit keycaps, they are coated with a layers of paint and the ligthing part is drilled away,
so that the part are light transparent, so when the part other than the wording wares off, the part become transparent too,
the light will come through. that make the keycaps look Fugly.

If a keycaps are not backlit, the inside and outside of the keycaps are same color,
so as it worn down, the color wouldn't be much different.

Actually, it is because we can't possibly having "black on black" dye sub keycaps... sweat.gif It is practically invisible, IOW still black...
The rule of dye-sub is the printing/legend must be darker than the keycaps.
