Just want to ask something. For Cherry switches, where do u all usually buy your custom keycaps etc?

Import them from overseas? I notice that a lot of websites etc such as taobao and geekhack, but importing them is very expensive it seems....

Switch type? Also, it is normal to feel weird or unease when first swapped to mechanical kb. Give it a little more time(like few weeks) and you may start enjoying it.

If you are really interested to make a profit from keycaps here, you should try to custom + mass order directly from the manufacturer(SP and KBC) instead of following those GB.

What are difference between the following models , last two seems pretty similar

Razer BWU - Available in blue switch only, USB 2KRO, backlit, cheapest of all, have quite bad reputation
Ducky 9008G2 PBT - Available in all switches (but locally available Red and Brown only), USB NKRO, no backlit, PBT the most durable key cap
Leopold FC500R - Available in all switches, USB 18KRO,

Mechanical keyboard is all about the typing feel and functionality, those blings blings, appearance design and whatsoever is basically useless.

wow i cant believe this problem still exists. RM500 keyboards with fading keycaps? u kidding me? isn't there like some new technology that has permanent printing or something? please enlighten me as im noob in this 

What about the Ducky Shine? How is it compared to Filco or Leopold? Now i'm down to these 3 choices. I just need one that has keycaps that last longer than my G15. The lack of macros and backlit already seems like a downgrade from my G15, from a gamer's perspective like me at least, no offence to others. The brown switches better justify all that coz i can't wait to experience them.

There is a thread in GH which made it. If different then find similar board and PS/paint/edit them to the one you like.
