Hi guys,
As above, my car with only 2.5k millage has some issue. whenever i press the pedal hard(more then half), i heard some noise from the engine. the noise sounds like some air or gas is being leaked.. something like 'shoo..' for a sec . Any idea what went wrong ?

Since its still so new, y dun u bring it up in ur next SC service? Sounds like a loose air intake hose from ur description.

inspira. next sc service? you mean the schedule service to change oil etc tat time? nex service is 5k and it would takes around 2 months to reach that mileage im afraid if i ignore the problem for now it would make the things worst. I tried to go service centre to complain but the problem but they claim they will only handle complain on weekdays and refuse to check my car.. really WT* as i dun hv free time on weekday. any advice for me?

Suggest tat u call Proton's customer hotline or visit another SC for tis. I doubt there's such thing as 'unable to trouble shoot on weekends' thingy.

Or if ur willing to find out urself, ask s'one to rev d engine in neutral at tat problematic range while u listen in front wit d bonnet open to narrow down where d sound comes from. At least u'll b able to shortlist wats possibly wrong wit ur ride.

Thx for the reply. Service last month. no Significant power loss. I tried rev the engine in neutral but no gas/air noise. I called proton i-care again. the guy is not helpful, saying that i must send in my car during weekdays which i cant do it due to my work sigh. but he say i can TRY to juz go COE and ask them to check but no gaurante they will accept my car cause they dont allow booking for troubleshooting . Zz.

at how many RPM?

why dont you check by test drive their testdrive car?
