regarding the topic, I myself hold back a few years before jumping into owning a big bike. took me 3 years to save enough money to pay for higher down payment. result of that? I only pay just over rm300 for the monthly installment. but every month still need to set aside rm200 for insurance, road tax, tires and maintenance.

btw, I'm using takaful ikhlas for insurance. insured my bike as single rider and it cost rm700 for sum insured of 40k.

I don't know about kurnia. I chose takaful because it's the only insurance which still provides the single rider option. I don't know why other insurance companies decline to give single rider anymore, perhaps to get more money out of bikers pocket.
