Nice thread, can I take over/tumpang? I have zero experience in riding a bike and am currently targeting the Ducati Monster 795, is it suitable for newbie, provided that I'll promise myself to know my own limits ? Besides, how much is the road tax & insurance for this bike?
if i'm not mistaken , small - can do smaller turning radius while big - need bigger space for turning radius ...
maybe i'm wrong ...
and alot first timer mistake, they dare to accelerate (full throttle on 1 n 2 gear is sucide act), but when reach corner they slow down (thought slow can take corner easier) without keeping momentum, it become over steer and kaboom ......
Your comment alerts me to ride safe, if i ever start to ride..but some people start with 500cc> bike and have no problems too..it depends on individual Ok then, i guess the salesman can give me more accurate information for semenanjung..30% DP should be ok, but the balance will need to loan as i dun wish to dump all money in that freaking bike perhaps i should start looking at er-6n or 6f? May I know what are the major differences between two of them? Kawasaki is more economical, but the setback is it's exhaust tone Great info, guess i'd have to prepare another 10k standby just for maintenance & gears
what u means exhaust tone ?? if u want, u can change exhoaust system or u means engine sound ? 2 pinton Vs 4 piston Vs 2 stroke Vs 4 stoke is totally different ...
That's why anyway..i'm open to other good recommendations as well..checking er-6n & 6f..have to research more as i'm still new to bikes
try smaller bike first, due to unforeseen circumstances always try at small, cause that involve ur personal life go for kapchai for few month then decide later la .....
If I already have CDL D Class license and after getting a B-Full, AKA "tambah kelas", will the B-full license be 'P' license and require 'P' sticker while riding? I see most big bikes riding on the normal car lanes instead of designated motor lanes, is it right for them to do so? I mean legally, according to Malaysian law? Besides, most big bikes are speeding like nobody's business on the highway as well as beating the traffic lights occasionally (I knew exceeding the max speed limit of 110km/h is definitely wrong in this case ), do they always get away from speed traps/summons/compounds?
nope they kena summon too ...... superbike no longer that premium compare to last time
now where's my tissue box.. was that a 795 you tested?
its assembled in Thailand. Its actually a 796 engine on a 696 chassis. Lower seat pitch and higher handle bar compared to 796. But narrower rims and tyres for 795. Ducati says, its for Asian market. but in the states, a 696 is priced slightly higher than ER6 but yet, you get nothing. Just a brand, Ducati. That's what a Ducati owner said. He owned er6n, zx6r before getting a 999 and 749.
some will argue with me, why Im posting that video. Its in the states, and the price are cheaper. But hey, those bikes are imported as well as we are over here. Compare the price of the er6 and 696 in the states with what we have over here in Malaysia. A Ducati will always be a Ducati. Expensive.
in one of his videos, he was quoted for 1k usd for valve adjustment job for a Ducati. Every 6k miles I think?
Tho the bike is cheap, but will you afford to maintain it?
Ive browsed mudah.my and I do see few 795 for sale. And they are only months old. I wonder what makes the owner to sell them off.
maintance lo ....... hehehhe it really cost bomb for monthly a,b,c,d ....
