Please be informed that all cheating case reported to police shall be referred to DPP (District Public Prosecutor) of every district court to be evaluated..police will only take your report, they cant do anything because all the power of cheated cases is on DPP..
if the victim have enough evidence to support his/her claims, the prosecutor shall open a file that will be referred to IO (Investigating Officer) for the case can open for court session. If the DPP can support the victim claims to the Magistrate, only after that the capture warrant (waran tangkap) can be issued..if the suspect is capture or was informed (usually was release on police bail) then another court session will be held with the victim and the suspect or just with their lawyer presence..usually minimum time for each case to reach the court is at least 2 weeks..
that why if the victim dont have any evidence that can strongly support their claims, some noob cops will say "just forget bout it"..
cheat cases is very hard to prove and it is a complicated cases..even a murder cases is much easier..
that pretty much cover the whole process as far as i know..
just for information as to tell u cop dont have the power to do anything about cheated cases..
