Anyone has idea how to watch TVB ( the hidden link ) via my PPS with my iPad 2?

Got Firefox and PPS, already open the ppsx.co.cc to get the hidden link ...

But nothing shown once i clicked the Episode?

Have you tried a Flash enabled browser like Puffin?

Alot of fake self claimed flash enable browser turns out to be a fluke.

Well, it works, but need to combine with VPN. Puffin used to be able to watch Hulu, Hubworld, etc and bypass US IP lock. They change it so cannot bypass since version 2.0.

Check out the Qvod app in Appstore and it's "FREE".

What's the name ? QVOD?

Search for "shenzhen qvod technology co.,ltd" in the Appstore and the icon will be something like IE with a chinese name.

it's the same method as you using QVOD through your window desktop, just use the app to browse for the movie site.

I think there's no way you can watch TVB through the latest PPS. TVB seems to have banned all of the dramas.

But I manage to find glove come off last time

I managed to watch about 2 episodes, then the whole drama went disappeared. This happened to last few dramas also.

QVOD doesn't support AirPlay?

Go to setting > wifi > select http manual proxy

Enter Server : 218.201.21.178
Port : 80

Go to PPS and reload the HK movie TAB, and you will see all the TVB movie link.

I think the current versions of pps have HK drama back already..

both ppstream and qvod are free in apple store lol

Negative reviews are that the newly updated QVOD app for iPad is unable to delete unwanted and downloaded files.

You need to off the proxy after successfully load the movie from PPS.

Anyone tried this with V1.4.3?

It works with V1.4.0, but not sure with the latest V1.4.3.

I think the method cannot be applied for the latest version of PPS.

I tried open PPS at New Zealand, and it cant browers or download but you can watch movie that you ald downloaded....

Solution[U]

Step 1 :
Click in your Wifi connection. You will see HTTP Proxy. Click Manual.

Step 2:
In server, type 218.201.21.178
In port, type 80

Step 3:
Reopen your PPS (close it and reopen if it's open before doing this)
You will see Hong Kong Drama~

Step 4:
Click in your desired drama and play it.Let it steam for few %.

Step 5:
Go back to the wifi setting, change your HTTP Proxy to "Off".

Step 6:
Go back to PPS, play the drama again & enjoy~!

After step 5, the streaming got error. And jump out to menu.

This work for me, after u have changed the proxy, go back to the pps, it should show all the tvb drama. And now u have to select what u want to watch and tick download. Then u need to "off" the proxy in wifi setting. Last, go back to pps and the drama u have just selected should be in the dl list and wait for it finished then start watching ))

May I know which PPS version are you using now?
To my understanding, only older version of PPS works with this method. Latest version can't.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

How about watch while streaming? Does it work too.

I've been watching the latest TVB dramas directly on PPS' website (http://v.pps.tv/tv-index.html) via Safari or Chrome on my iDevices. AirPlay is supported too!

Note: It will be helpful if you can read Chinese words. Well, I'm sure most of you already knows.

I don't dare to update now because afraid the method mentioned above cannot work anymore.

Btw, just tried pps 1.5.4 works fine with the proxy setting.

azdrama cant play using iPad lar bro. How you solve this?

Plays fine on my iPAD2 using dolphin and chrome.

Mine is New iPad and non JB version. Everytime I click to watch, the "play" symbol has a line on top indicate that it cant play. Any setting that I need to do? Am using Safari BTW. I downloaded Chrome and still the same. However, I found out one thing. If I use my home's Unifi, then can watch. If I use Maxis's 3G, then cannot. So, i think its ISP's problem. Anyone know how I can bypass that?

I'm on Ipad2 non JB as well, but I'm not in Malaysia so it could be an ISP issue.

I use normal Safari to open this azdrama.net...it works fine for me.. I am using non-JB version iPad 2..

no need JB rite?

you don't need to JB to used the PPSTV to watch TVB drama.


to go wifi > select the wifi network you connected > right click the blue arrow > manual > insert server IP > port no:

Switch to PPSTV select all the drama into the favour folder, select download. BUT remember to switch off the wifi proxy. if NOT you cannot surf internet or anything else. After completed the download than you only able to watch the video file.

you can resume the download even you are not using the manual proxy.
