I pre-purchased mine on their web site, they sent me links to their beta forum and I downloaded the client which is around 20 GB, there is one beta event on monday.

price shd be the same. They won't make it cheaper than pre-purchase le..coz pre-purchaser helps them a lot

I might get it soon as well. What is the lag like? This will be the first time for me connecting to a server not in SEA.

It's about 200-250 ms ping which is written in V1.
Somehow they say it's OKAY for mmo and runs pretty well for Malaysia.

I'm still downloading the client, will share my experience when it's done

eh really? i thought the 500+ ping was for the 1st day of bwe only? after the maint it was pretty smooth (for pve that is).

Guys. I wanna ask if let's say I haven receive download link email yet. Can I log in and play GW2 ?

if you've bought it, registered it, you can and should download.

There will be a 7 hours stress test on Tuesday 2am. If you can complete download in time, try to login and roaming around for 1~2 hours.

you need to login to the guild wars 2 forums. I believe the link is in your email.

In the forums there will be only a single Topic regarding the stress test.

Read it and you should be able to find the link to download the Client.

Download it now if not you will probably miss the stress test as it only last for 7 hours.

uh, it's somewhere in this thread/v1. look for it and grab it there. and, idk if you can finish downloading 13-14gb worth of data in a day. gl tho.
