can anybody verify whether the jerseys KITPRIDE is selling are genuine or not?

in any event, to Arsenal fans. did you guys noticed that the material used for the Home Jersey for 2011 - 2012 (125 years) and the 2012 - 2014 Home Jersey is different?

For discussion sake:-
this is the 2011-2012 (125 Years) Arsenal home jersey i bought and i notice there are these small "lumps" on the inside of the shirt whereas the 2012-2014 Arsenal Home i just bought from Kitpride doesn't have them.


The cannon on the crest on the 2012-2014 is sewed up of gold strings whereas all my previous Arsenal jerseys, the cannon on the crest are "one" with the rest of the crest (see the Arsenal 3rd Kit 2004 - 2005)



Advise?
This is actually my first time buying original kits from online store (ie Kitpride)

the 2011-2012 kit was the first kit that i ever had with the "lump" material on the interior. i got worried as i am aware that there are "drop-down" / "kick-off" kits Nike manufactured for football clubs including Nike and i bought the 2012-2014 from Kitpride at a discounted price, so it's a pretty good bargain if it's the original replica kit but definitely not if it's a "drop-down" / "kick-off" kit.

i understand that "drop-down" / "kick-off" kits are also authentic kits manufactured from Nike therefore if you trace them by the serial numbers, they should have no problem proving themselves.

i am also a collector since the 2002 season which is why i was surprised as Nike never did manufactured kits for Arsenal of the subsequent year with a totally different material. this is a first for me.

anyway, did you bought your Arsenal Home Kit 2012-2014 from a Nike Retail Store and is the crest on yours look identical to mine and is the interior of your Home Kit smooth instead of having lumps like the 2011-2012 Home Kit? i wanted to get one from the Stores but they ran out of M and they are not intending to restock

Yeah, that 03-04 Home Kit was my FIRST original jersey in fact, bought during my secondary school years and i went through a lot of proper training to get it XD

Somehow the 03-04 Home Kit has "something" to it which i can't explain ^^ it was the first kit with the new Arsenal crest.

the white collar turned yellowish though which is kinda sad =( any idea how to get rid of it?

yeah, i agree with you that the 12/14 kit feels more snug compared to all the previous kit.

Talking about name and number prints, i heard that effective the new season, the official material will be replaced with PU instead of Lextra. I know PU are prone to cracking if not taken care of and Lextra is slight more durable but the things is, i've never actually seen and compared both this materials.

Care to provide a brief description of these 2 as I need to confirm with the supplier on which material i am using.

So now I am divided, should I opt for Sencscilla (ie. Lextra) instead of the current PSPro (ie. PU like material)?

I just want something that will not require me to be "extra" careful to prevent the prints from going bad.

My kit supplier actually gave me an option to either opt for the Lextra prints (with a slight discount) or the current "PU" prints. He told me that the current PU prints will be more prone to cracking but not definitely, only when not through proper care (i believe this means, folding the shirt or anything that would cause a bend on the prints) whereas Lextra is slightly more durable but it will get dirty easily.

By "gets dirty easily", i don't really understand what it means.

He has some leftovers of Lextra prints.

guys, my kit Vendor just told me that the printer sorta "f" up'd the name print. It ended up slightly off center to which I have rejected it and demand it to be fixed properly before i will take delivery of it.

the Vendor is going to do for me but he told me that he is just going to peel off the prints from the shirt and then have a new one reprinted on the shirt.

question is:-

1) will the peeling damage the shirt as i know the prints are "heat-pressed" onto the shirt; and
2) will it leave stains mark behind because i believe all glue which are "heat-pressed" will bound to leave some.

the prints are Lextra as i opted for it.

please advise or should i demand the Vendor to print on a new shirt?

Richard is not my name :haha:, i am buying it as a gift for someone for his birthday which is why i am particularly concerned to make sure everything is at least close to perfection. I am not a perfectionist but since i am able to take notice of the discrepancies at one look, i am sure the wearer will not feel as satisfied as well.

The Vendor has not agreed to anything else yet as I have asked him the question on the possibility of damage of stain marks to which he replied he will take care of it. However, I will do a thorough check on the shirt and if there are stains or damage has been inflicted on the shirt due to the peeling then i will most probably demand him to give me a new shirt or just give me a full refund due to their default.

First time buying a shirt with name prints and a bad experience.

In any event, what does "NN" stands for anyway.

i believed Ikea carries them but they might be slightly on the pricey side.

did you guys realized that Nike has moved the tags up to the collar area?

this will be most uncomfortable to wear with that tag constantly brushing the back of your neck

take a look at the FC Porto shirt that was posted earlier here in this thread and also, the leaked 2013/2014 Arsenal Away shirt in yellow also reveals a tag at the collar.

it's pretty hard to tell through a picture especially now when those Grade AAA only has a very slight differences compared to the original. You may determined it by looking at the few factors:-
1. the texture of the shirt;
2. the club crest embroidery;
3. the availability of size (not sure if it's real but those Grade AAA usually only have one size;
4. the shirt tags.

Not sure how Adidas works but Nike usually have a bunch of tags sewed at the inner bottom part of the shirt.

Yeah, protech isn't the first when it comes to availability but their price are very competitive though. They are selling the Arsenal 2013/2014 away kit for RM199 pre-order price whereas this Kitpride is on RM219.00 and refused to budge even a single cent -.-

Actually, one thing that i noticed from Grade AAA PI and original PI is the insides. Most of the seams are "taped" with the "rubber" material you found on the shoulder on the outside as i have read from Nike's websites, these "tapes" are supposed to prevent any friction from the seams against the player's skin which creates irritation when the player is running.

Can't be found in Grade AAA PI jerseys.

PI jerseys are not made in Thailand?

So, PI jerseys are only made in Indonesia. If we bought Replicas which are manufactured in countries other than Indonesia, are we f*

I think it's unfair to judge the shirt for lack of cutting as it is a Size L and i know PI are usually more fitting but it has alot to do with the type of hanger used. The hanger seems to be one of those cheap ones which offers very less support.

Yeap, not all PI are created equal i guess :haha: I've seen some PI with heat pressed club crest together with the Nike swoosh but some just are embroided. Nike should have utilize the codes tagged to the shirt for verification purposes otherwise it's rather redundant -.-

but one thing is for sure, the Dri-Fit text seemed "sewed" on instead of heat-pressed. One that that is consistent throughout PI jersey is that the DRI-FIT tag is definitely heat-pressed.
