Anyone interested in BVB jersey long sleeve complete with name and patch? I have difficulty in registering in their official website since they didn't have 'Malaysia' on the list. Anyone have tried before? Worried my Small size jersey will sold out tongue.gif

I got one question for all the sifu here. Last night I apply Respect patch to my jersey, and after I iron it to my jersey, I realized the patch had move a little bit from the place and I take it off.
But, it leave glue stain on my jersey, how can I remove the glue stain?

Thanks.

I used to buy a complete LS jersey with name, number, starball and respect for £60+ (expensive delivery) from United Direct.

Today, I tried to buy LS jersey with name, number and starball (without respect) for a whopping £80+ (expensive delivery).

Another good reason for me to quit collecting jersey.

Got anything to do with the debt kah?

Anybody here with a valid gift certificate? Will continue collecting if somebody can help. LOL.

wat do u mean by hero printing/nameset?
*
Hero printing/nameset means that you personalize your jersey with your favorite/hero player. The nameset is the 'name&number' stick at the back of your jersey.

You'll get used to the jargon after awhile smile.gif

When I started collecting jersey 12 years ago they started with fake name like 'flyhawk'.

In 2010 it is quite impossible to find a long sleeve fake jersey but now you can find it anywhere.

Now you can even heat press your fake jersey at uptown/downtown with not only famous one like rooney, persie or kagawa, but also cleverley which not only in EPL style, but they have it in UCL also.

By next year confirm got printing for reserve and youth player.

i just started last year eh .. so slow sad.gif
what to do .. no extra money to buy jersey last time hahaha

Having friends with the same hobby helps you a lot smile.gif

To be frank, collecting jersey 10 years ago 10 times cheaper than 2012.

This time around people making profit out of our beloved hobby. Imagine a starball that used to worth rm50 now can cost rm500. Totally unreasonable.

wats a starball?? haha how come cost so much???
juve shirt only rm 60? shit.. now its like.. 240!!!! .. 10 years = x 4 inflation

On the right sleeve, that is a starball. On the left it's a respect patch. The nameset style with starball and respect patch used specially for champions league game.

It differs when the game are playing EPL games.

The starball changes every 2-3 season. This season starball you could get around rm80 but the one used before 2000 it will cost you a bomb.

Is there any printing service in yik fong? as in I bring my own nameset

Out of the topic a bit,

On my early days, I used to bring my stuff to al-ikhsan to ask them print for me.

But my friends influence me to print the stuff myself. Seriously addicting man once you got the rhythm smile.gif you should try it yourself. Might spoilt a few jersey for the sake of getting the experience but well worth it smile.gif

Since I'm in semi retirement mode, now buy complete UCL jersey (mostly 95% of my united jersey is UCL) from UD. LoL. Got no time and busy tongue.gif

I can DIY my nameset, but don't want to risk it..and this nameset is a bit special. LFP's namesets are really sensitive.
The last time I bring my stuff, the guy working there print my jersey way to low and slightly towards the right of the jersey. That's where I started DIY my stuff. I went to real one by the way. If anyone want to print there, please wait there until they finish their job. If you leave it there and go jalan2, you might end up like me. Lucky for me only one jersey spoilt, the silver forlan printing for united blue away shirt come out ok. Although the paper still stick to the nameset after printing, its forgivable since the nameset have expired.

The best place in KL/selangor area would Mykitzone. Done by collector for collector.

How do we check whether the nameset have expired or not?
*
No clear answer for this.

As far as i know, only after printing the nameset on your jersey that you can identify the nameset have already expired. Then after that by word of mouth.

Mostly UCL printing have problem especially the silver nameset for blue away MU jersey 2002 and the gold nameset for home MU 2006. Have to be careful printing this nameset.

Anybody know how much it would the shop charge if I buy those patch and names and ask those shop in kl to do it for me ?

Printing service normally cost you rm10 per jersey if you bring your own nameset/patch.

Buy nameset/patch from the store it will be free.

so what do you guys do with your original jerseys? use it to play football/futsal?

or just use it when walk around here and there?

Something to talk and argue about. At last tongue.gif

Anyway, I used my jersey not only for jalan-jalan, but also to play futsal, football or jogging. Beli mahal2 and simpan, for me, feel like kinda wasted. But I know a lot that like to keep as a collection/asset smile.gif

Got only one shirt that still have a tag though. My Moscow embroided final smile.gif

how is standard mail ah ? if standard mail hilang can ask for replacement or credit back ah?
*
I used a standard mail before and lost the item. United Direct refund me back the money to my credit card account. They actually ask if I want them to send a new item or refund. I opted for the latter.

But it depends with the company that you are dealing with.
