QUOTE(B747-4H6 @ Apr 1 2013, 07:15 AM) Hi I just got a 2012-2013 Arsenal home kit player issue. Can you take some close up photos of your jersey and share them with us?A friend walked up and told me it's a fake because the Arsenal Logo and Nike Swoosh are embroided instead of being PU or as per the fly emirates sponsor. I hope sifus here can help me out. I need to see the close up photo of the club crest, sizing info, printed washing info inside the shirt and the ventilation holes as well... |

QUOTE(mdecimvs @ Apr 21 2013, 07:18 PM) Need advice from otai2 here. Both are original because there are no XXL sized fake jerseys for this jersey and for most jerseys. The pirates are kedekut so no worries.I'm thinking of bidding for arsenal away shirt 08-09 XXL (yellow with dark blue sleeves) on ebay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321108029975?ssP...984.m1438.l2649 gives pit to pit measurement as 24", while http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200916591586?ssP...984.m1438.l2649 gives pit to pit measurement as 69cm (about 27"). Which one is ori? If you want to buy, better buy from the second seller because the shirt looks in mint condition: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200916591586 |

QUOTE(andrewtho @ Apr 27 2013, 01:23 PM) Started to peel within 7 days, I went back on the 6th day mind you, they refused. Broke apart weeks later. So yeah. Sorry to chip in. I am not taking sides here. But based on your experience, it happened to a friend of mine as well last time. It was a nike shoe my friend bought from a Nike boutique store in One Utama. After few days (can't remember how long) the shoe had some defects thus my friend sent it back to nike store and luckily they were willing to help. This is because my friend kept with him the receipt and manage to get a replacement. So it can happen to any store to be honest and unfortunately. Again, let me reinstate my statement. I did not ask anyone nor pressured anyone to boycott Al-Ikhsan, which sanctions the your previous statement of It's not a claim. It's an statement based on EXPERIENCE. Again, the FB page was a guide for him to look up on it. It's not my attitude, it's you. My statement of Al-Ikhsan cannot be trusted is based on personal experience, but that does not say that they are selling illegitimate items, nor was I asking anyone to boycott them. Does that sound like a defamation to you? Buck up your reading skills. This is the stupidest statement I've ever seen in a long time. Again, referring back to my previous post. Why not you let yourself in my shoe, then someone tells you in the face. How would you feel? You buy a car, your car breaks down, your dealer tells you, it won't last forever. So does that mean that you can just accept and walk away? Unless you do so, I believe you have no sense of consumer right policy. I rest my case. I think you should not say that al-ikhsan is not trusted, but you can say that their customer service sucks. That is the correct way of saying it. Not trusted means that they might be untrustful (cannot be trusted) in terms of selling legit or fake stuff. Based on your experience, it has got to do with customer service. Even myself reading your post for the first time got confused with your earlier statement. When people ask which facebook page, you say you don't want to spoonfed people. Dude, if I was like you, almost a lot of people will not learn many things here or know if a jersey is fake or not. This kind of attitude is not good all the time. I understand sometimes you prefer people to do their own research (as much as I do when people ask me things related to football jerseys) but at least share a link to the facebook page helps to justify what you said earlier. We don't know al-ikhsan or the owner. To hell with the owners, I don't really know them at all and to be honest, I nowadays rarely buy from there because I can get the things I want cheaper elsewhere. But to be fair to them, they are not selling fake items and maybe their customer service sometimes sucks, I cannot argue with that because it is subjective. But fake jersey vs authentic jerseys is an absolute clear precise thing. As much as I like to catch the fake sellers red handed in this forum or elsewhere, I hate to label/claim honest sellers because I would always encourage them and also to help others wanting to buy genuine stuff as well. Hope you get my point and no harm intended. Cheers! This post has been edited by schmeichel7: May 1 2013, 08:40 PM |

QUOTE(shaniandras2787 @ Jul 24 2013, 11:25 AM) Actually, one thing that i noticed from Grade AAA PI and original PI is the insides. Most of the seams are "taped" with the "rubber" material you found on the shoulder on the outside as i have read from Nike's websites, these "tapes" are supposed to prevent any friction from the seams against the player's skin which creates irritation when the player is running. The seams are heat bonded, hence the "tape".. Can't be found in Grade AAA PI jerseys. You can tell it's a fake. Printed washing info says it is Made in Thailand. WTF.. hahaha.. |

QUOTE(shaniandras2787 @ Jul 25 2013, 06:08 PM) alternating between heat press and embroidery seems a bit "redundant". further, i have came across PI jerseys on the same season with different method of affixing the club crest on the jerseys. It's not a matter of redundant or what...just for the Arsenal 2012/2014 home jersey, i've seen 2 different PI version, one with total heat press and one with embroidery, like the replica version. From what I heard.. United decided that the club crest this time will be embroidered for their PI shirts because the PU printed club crest can be imitated easily. For the fake ones, the embroidered club crest is very hard to imitate.. you can almost get an identical design but it's almost not identical.. If it was PU material.. you can just simply scan it and print it easily with sharp and precise detail. Nike like adidas and puma, have outsourced their production to many countries with 'cheaper' labour cost. The cost of globalization.. no longer you would see nike or adidas kits that are Made in UK or England nowadays.. There are kits that are Made in Bangladesh... Nike training kits and player shorts (PI or replica) are always Made in Thailand. So one of the keys to know if a jersey is authentic or not is to know in which the country made the replica/PI kits.. There are many tricks and skills but I don't want to discuss this openly in the public because of many people that might misuse it. QUOTE(chaiyya345 @ Jul 25 2013, 08:45 PM) oh! a HK seller. im abit skeptical for this shirt. last season i almost bought ManUtd 12/13 PI with HK ebayer claims he got it from kitmen in OT. but after did some checking it turned out fake & selling at ridiculous price (RM2K++) when i could get a fake PI for just RM60.
