Hi, recently just convert my 1.6 4g92p from auto to 1.5 4g91 manual using clutch cable type gearbox. Want to ask, use straight flow good or s-flow good for pickup? I've heard s-low for auto cars more good, straight flow for manual more pickup?
And how to know the fiber 'left' in an straight flow muffler if i wanna buy from halfcut shop?

QUOTE(27needles @ Apr 30 2012, 06:07 PM) This. +1 I personally used straight flow. Then changed back to ori s-flow muffler! Backpressure for going uphill was so much better even at 4th or 5th gear. The straight flow was always losing power when going uphill on 4th/5th gear. ya i know, but the front pickup is like a cow...coz maybe back pressure too much? Added on April 30, 2012, 6:20 pmAnd want to ask forumers, is there a way to repair the fuel meter? Because i guess all wira had this problem, the fuel meter goes down quite fast after after Mid level...is there a way to change the tank fuel detector? QUOTE(Vervain @ Apr 30 2012, 07:50 PM) What is your current setup? (I'm with 27needles. Currently on Straight flow. Planning to change back S-flow but aftermarket big ones lah. The noise is making me & occupants crazy. ) Erm, my current setup are actually standard 1.6, which is 4-2-1 extractor to cat back, then a small bullet and straight flow FireHill exhaust, too loud then i change back to normal wira exhaust and the car feel 50% heavier...piping are using ori direction...i don't want to invest too much money on changing piping size and route because of the fc...further more my wira oredi makan fc like gila, full tank only go about 280-300km/h after i convert to manual, befor ethat auto only can reach 260-270km/h

QUOTE(Vervain @ May 1 2012, 11:19 PM) Just change to a bigger muffler(but not too big s-flow). Stock muffler mmg restrictive. That's why its silent. Fc depends on right foot. Btw your car damn fast wei. HAHAHA, sorry...is 260km =.= using back ori s-flow muffler, my wira only can run 8.6/litre...using straight flow is about 9.5/litre... 8.6/litre is same as camry ron97 =.= This post has been edited by wilsonwc: May 2 2012, 07:08 PM
