P/s: i do know how to weld.mig,tig,smaw,plasma,spotweld,laser welding etc. I used to teach those things.

Im at proton edar melaka at the moment,servicing my PE. While at it, i took a look at the displayed preve. Funny, i found the welding on the door looked just fine. Not like the worst weld such as posted by someone before. I think it look perfectly fine.
P/s: i do know how to weld.mig,tig,smaw,plasma,spotweld,laser welding etc. I used to teach those things. |

I think the term that should be used for that weld on the is tack weld rather than spot weld.those involve in metal fabrication should know this. Spot weld is a process whre you heat up two metal and the place place where the two metal melt will bond the metals together (it will bond on the inner part of the two metals,not.outside). While other welding processes mostly binds the metals from the outside parts of the metals. Many photos i've seen people posted here including the so call additional spot weld to the car body by the owner was actually tack weld. You need a big spot weld machine to do spot weld. It will actually 'kepit' those metal,heat the metal amd melt it togethar. I never knew we can do spot weld by hand.
