Yes that is the problem. 0 ~ 2 or 3kmph the car feel a bit late to response. For me I press it first after about 0.5 or 1 sec then only it can go out safely. Example if in roundabout you see no car already u think of going out don't press hard just put from n to d let the car go infront Abit then only start pressing lightly after that 1 sec it will be around 5 kmph or more. So before u go out press first then power will come after that. Or if u want u can rev it more than 2000 it will come immediate also. I also wish it can go immediately like my old car Daihatsu charade only 1.3litre but is very small and light car compare to this preve.

Yes they will do it for u. just need to use it.

hmmm.. luckily mine everything so far good. about the light i only got R and N light..the rest not lighting up.

Hmmm....want to comment about some paint issue here.

My genetic silver looks very nice.but at certain angle at my side passenger door can see three very blur patch of silver. I sent to Sierra Glow again. They assure me its already applied with Sierra Glow sealant i ask Mr Chong to help me again see if it is really because of the paint so they inspect again. by using light and water. they say if water don't stick at the door panel and come down very fast plus forming a small water droplets that is already been applied with sierra glow.

They use some very light compound to perform it again. Then clean it with their shampoo rinse with water then apply again the glass glow liquid on the surface. it is still the same. So when u guys receive your car. Please look at all angle. usually 20 degree to 15 degree angle you will be able to see it with help of some light. luckily only three very light small like 2 inch wide patch. blurish. base on Mr Chong, this is during production the color applied they did not wait it to dry properly or apply unevenly then straight away put clear coat that is why it become like that. But the surface is very flat no dirt or anything is just the color a bit blurish behind the clear coat.

and already got two small super small stone chips on the right hand side of passenger door. no matter how hard they try to restore cannot be restore...around 1mm to 2 mm deep scratch but not deep until the second coat. I think only the glassglow coat and the clear coat plus a bit of silver color chip off. they also try to use another compound to try smooth-en it out then applied sierra glow again but they cannot restore it.

So overall they already tried but not able to restore the chip off paint. The person handle this already got 5 to 6 years experience. Working with Mr Chong. Since Sierra Glow start operating he is already there. forget to get his name. I think not Malaysian..maybe Indonesian... not sure..

So check properly. Near to the paint and angle watch properly. check for stain or mark.

My first full tank from SA not yet finish....my odometer shows... 206km++... still got 3 box of fuel to go. the fuel indicator got 8 box.

I duno mine is which batch but my chasis number ending with 1070..which means number 1070 car i think.

this is wrong. put in key. press on brake. press push start button while your leg is still on brake. wait until fully start only take off leg. i try press brake press push start button when the car not yet start fully if you release the brake got some sort of some gear sound creek creek creek sound coming out. so need to do it in full. press push start while your leg still on top of the brake pedal after finish start fully then only lift off the brake pedal.

no normal only. i always press on the knob before changing to all the gears...i dunno will it help if u press the knob before shifting to Reverse....

After a few days of running around. There is a few things i want to point out not sure it applys to all preveans'.

park my car facing downhil. From P change to R before i press the accelerator pedal the car is going down. Is it all auto cars suppose to be stay put without moving infront? the hill gradient i think not that steep.... maybe 5% or 10% only... is it because of car heavy the cvt gear box not able to pull car behind?

Another thing is the sluggishness at start getting lesser...not sure why is bit more responsive.
anther thing is there is a slight vibration when going up hill traveling at around 80 or 90kph. rpm around 2200~2500.

CVT whinning is kinda loud too. i not sure consider loud or not but the airplane sound whooosssh is kinda loud especially during down hill at high speed. if you dont press the accelerator during down hill the CVT whines loud.

OK ok just let you guys know how I get my Preve so fast. I book during the proton power of 1 event. if not mistaken during 15 of march. First two days of the event.
Booking I put RM 100 only instead of RM 500. cause that time i only got rm100 in my wallet. My SA says selection of color and test drive I can do it after the official launch. Wait after wait. during 16 April is the Preve Launch date. on that day itself. I could not sleep i text msg my SA say want to test drive tomorrow at 2.00pm.

So on the 17 April I test drive. test drive already immediately choose between blue or silver...think again...lazy people color always silver. so i select silver. I pay the extra rm 400. since i am the customer that book during proton power of 1 so she say priority is for me. Maybe I am lucky get car that fast.

But the thing is most of the work I do my self. NCB change from old car withdraw and get a new insurance for my old car I do it myself. during the 18th until 25 April. i visit my sa for four or five times i forget but i always do follow up. After that when i complete the NCB transfer give the document paper to the SA the rest of the things she do it for me.

The number plate i want my own number so i go JPJ myself. Get the number already after paying rm 230 or 250 or 220 i forget. then give the JPJ slip document to SA. then after a while waiting. on the 24th i get my Yes ID from SMS. so if you get any Yes ID from sms means your car already ready. on the 26 i go take my car. I spent almost 2 hours in the showroom... check everything. explaination of how things operate basic one. check oils and stuffs. my car they park inside showroom. i thought is show room car but the sales agent says no my number already there. my road tax already there. all the plastic never tear before. so when i reach the sales agent only tear it for me.

So i think this one we need to always get in touch with SA. always follow up. if things not running must do it yourself. then i ask my sa why no free smart tag? why no free ipad...why no free astro ... then the sa says if free all I no more commission. i say can give one extra umbrella ok yes umbrella can.

that's about it. during the ten days before receive car i also think ...dunno what happen to my car...during the transport to the showroom will it be in one pcs? will there be any accident...before i get my car. my mileage shown is 18km.. new car is like that i think 20 ~ 50 range should be acceptable...

I pray hard, hopefully you guys can get your preve very very soon and without any failures or very very minor issue that can be rectified as soon as possible.

Blue if you feel want to have lagoon feel. black if you want to perform sierra glow for extra bling bling, silver if you are lazy person to clean and for me it looks very very nice. want to be extra hot get red. if you are a bit uncle then can select elegant brown. and white if you are very hardworking person that can wipe car every single day.

Added on May 3, 2012, 2:50 amThats so good. I only got touch and go. full tank and steering lock only. plus an umbrella.. no smart tag. sa say very expensive. the tint is already come with eco tint so no need tint also.

Heard that chasis number is at 3000 now. not sure how true is that... if booking is 4300...still got another 1300 units to go...that was like last week sales number for Preve models... 70% is cfe variant. my chassis number is 1070.

Wow brother. So near the birth date. just next to each other. i am thinking those car must be next to each other and say hi while the robot arms doing the welding and other stuffs.

i wonder where you get that? which proton branch? EON ? i wonder who get the first 1000 units.
