SA call me that my car is ready for collection but can only do it 2moro becos showroom is close for labour day, as stated earlier i am suppose to get it on 27/4/12 but was postpone, but the answer he gave me for the delay was a bit of nonsense like, they r doing the ecu remap n engine mounting, but i dont hear anyone from lwn forum that their sa is telling them the same reason except mine only. He is making me like a fool or what, if its really remap  i will test 2moro n will know if not i am going to f the sa kaw2 for making excuses.

so 5 years/ 60 month warranty on what part?

i just booked one on last fri。my SA says i can get my car this fri 。。already made my regis car plate no 。。waiting for another 3  days

Got my car CFE  solid white about 3 hours ago,first thing i can confirm is the lag is less now n is dam super quiet but some rattling sound from dash board but i detect myself already n everything is fine but when i drive out its raining so have to wash afterward.

u have to remember.. msian become barbarians and orang utan when go to proton showroom. they will knock, kick, press, prod, smell, poke, push, lick, kiss, raba, slam, and anything short of f***ed the car up side down.

There will always be ppl saying negative things, especially about something so brand new. And i have a feeling a majority of those condemning the car are Toyota & Honda owners. I look at it this way though, let them say and do all they want, cuz when the Preve'ians are finally on the road in full force, nothing is gonna stop us.

That's because the amount of proton cars on the road is 10x more than other makes. Let's give for example suzuki alto, imagine if defects rate is 2%, that's only a few tens of cars but if it's a proton, due to the huge quantity, it's a few hundreds to few thousands of people facing the problem thus other makes' problems goes unreported. My friend's father bought a BMW 5 series, after a year of ownership the gearbox had to be replaced.
