Politically speaking, I really do hate Proton since they involved themselves with the gomen. Even launching also need to wait from gomen. But, it would be totally unfair to judge them solely on that + it's natural a national car manufacturer must have the national leader to launch it (though it shouldn't be a must).

Agreed that Proton has come far from where they started off as an assembler back in '85 as for me I judge the product by its quality and whether or not the price for it is reasonable. In Preve's case, I do find the price is far more attractive than what other Asian cars manufacturers offers.

You guys who have a black-memoire with Proton, I cannot blame you. My dad were among the first batch buyer of Waja back in 2001 where during that time so many of them had to be checked by SC again due to its power window problem and some Aircond duct pipe problem. Yet my father was NOT one of them. Thus I believe getting a car (I didn't say a proton, a produa, a honda, a toyota, or what, i just said a car) all of us are subject to the possibility of getting a slight problematic car to be ours. Those who aren't are just pure luck.

QC definitely need to be improved but still nothing is perfect in this world. Even how the SC treats you are subjective from time to time, place to place. You cannot expect every staff at every SC will sugar-coat what ever they say to you, talk to u nicely as if you were driving a BMW! Come on, get real!

Remember that in V5 if I'm not mistaken that somebody has pointed out that buying a BMW or whatever conti car just to have them treted badly at SC by paying even more than us who bought Proton. From that point of view, I'm grateful that I buy Proton instead of BMW.

Compare to design wise some might say or opt to buy Korean car at least or whatsoever since their design is much more 'matured' they say. LOL, google it a bit and see how long it has taken Korea to become what they are now and compared to > or < 20 years Proton have. This is progress.

Plus, I think u guys (bashers) are either butt-hurt out of jelly since this nice car was produced by Proton instead of your beloved car manufacturers or u just come here to pick a fight by finding a slight problem and make it bigger than what it is so that you feel satisfied or superior or you have made the right decision.

So tiring to try & educate this monkey who didn't have any money to go out & live far away from this country yet never be grateful that you even live here & work here or even have your descendant born here. I intend to ignore but damn these effing monkey really2 annoyed me.
