Hmmm....want to comment about some paint issue here.

My genetic silver looks very nice.but at certain angle at my side passenger door can see three very blur patch of silver. I sent to Sierra Glow again. They assure me its already applied with Sierra Glow sealant i ask Mr Chong to help me again see if it is really because of the paint so they inspect again. by using light and water. they say if water don't stick at the door panel and come down very fast plus forming a small water droplets that is already been applied with sierra glow.

They use some very light compound to perform it again. Then clean it with their shampoo rinse with water then apply again the glass glow liquid on the surface. it is still the same. So when u guys receive your car. Please look at all angle. usually 20 degree to 15 degree angle you will be able to see it with help of some light. luckily only three very light small like 2 inch wide patch. blurish. base on Mr Chong, this is during production the color applied they did not wait it to dry properly or apply unevenly then straight away put clear coat that is why it become like that. But the surface is very flat no dirt or anything is just the color a bit blurish behind the clear coat.

and already got two small super small stone chips on the right hand side of passenger door. no matter how hard they try to restore cannot be restore...around 1mm to 2 mm deep scratch but not deep until the second coat. I think only the glassglow coat and the clear coat plus a bit of silver color chip off. they also try to use another compound to try smooth-en it out then applied sierra glow again but they cannot restore it.

So overall they already tried but not able to restore the chip off paint. The person handle this already got 5 to 6 years experience. Working with Mr Chong. Since Sierra Glow start operating he is already there. forget to get his name. I think not Malaysian..maybe Indonesian... not sure..

So check properly. Near to the paint and angle watch properly. check for stain or mark.

I duno mine is which batch but my chasis number ending with 1070..which means number 1070 car i think.

so when did you receive your car? CFE variant also? what problem encounter so far? how far a full tank? i still using free tank from the SA gift...

the reading is 220++km i think the most can get is 270 or 280..for one full tank... new car suppose to be like that ?
running for 80 ~ 100kmph max. and usually i will start my car warm up during morning for 2 or 3 min or more... sometimes playing around with the buttons and checking around with the gps settings.

........my indicator show 18.1/100km is this wrong information? or the computer calculated wrongly?

not sure if can reach to 6.8l/100 km... if can then is very good.

hopefully... even i can get that reading for the whole highway journey i am happy already. i wan to try from kl to johor then to perlis dunno can reach or not.... whats your number plate starting with my is WWQ

First number starting with 8? is very hard to get 3 and number 8 as the first number

for those who are still worrying bout Proton Prevé standard 5-years (or 3-years?) warranty

me also got confused already but last time when testdrive n display unit arrived, it clearly stated only 3-years or 100,000km (same as Saga FLX, Exora). nothing bout 5-years or 150,000km at all   myb those service booklet are printed long way b4 launching. at least now they already update on 5-years warranty (engine n GB up to 3-years or 100,000km only)

Want to ask, preve come with tinted film only 4 windows or full

that is pay as u go concept. Im not datuk lah, still young :-). Im not oso dsz. Share some info on iafm+ n cfe engine. On of important aspect during pheonix project engine is to optimise power usage n less loss by keeping the engine at its optimum operation temperature around 80 degree. If the engine temperature is less than optimum temperature, it causing the engine to work hard to pull the pulley n causing bad fc, and if the temparature is more than optimum operation, the power is loss n also causing bad fc. So, one of changing part in iafm+ n cfe is cooling part. Thats why iafm+ has the same service schedule as cfe cause it is na base of cfe. The diff are on vvt where being replace by iafm n no tubo charge unit and of course the bore n stroke. Others are more or less the same. Another diff between cfe n iafm+ is spark plug coz cfe used iridium based, iafm+ platinum based.

Thats why iafm+ service schedule is diff than iafm, cps n campro unit. Iafm, campro n cps has the same based,diff on certain tech only.

about assemby line of cfe n iafm+, i dunno, but if not mistaken, diff assembly line, same output capacity. Since demand for cfe is higher than iafm+ unit, then it shud be understandable cfe unit is a bit late arriving compare to iafm+ unit. Dun have connection on assembly line,so,cant confirm it though, by the way, those who already receive the car, hows the welding point?

Yup, thats already include in checklist. Can explain clearly on the messy part, is it the 2 pieces is not the same size, i mean the connection (the metal part, not the welding part)like as the pre prod part before, or it just the spot not nice?

Added on May 3, 2012, 10:14 amjust i said before, there are protonians observing the net silently gathering feedback. However, shud complaint officially to sc when send in the car for service. All feedback required by them i supposed to monitor even for vendors performance.

Do you means they are touching up the spot at the Tg. Malim plant now? and they paint is not dry yet? If yes, what is the color?

Can use eye sight la.... It is the most conventional method before all the reverse sensor and camera came out...
Just ask ur passenger go down and eye sight for u.. Lailailailailai and wave hand. When reach limit, then put stop signal and bang 3 times on the boot cover together with shouting "Opppppssss!!"
