normal around rm260-300 lo if u pick number urself by booking the number, if u let jpj pick for u, i think rm50 for registration.. they say if u jump queue more means u need pay more money lol.. mine SA send runner to jpj and get the booking for number..

buy over jpj counter, 210 or 310, so if give rm50 for runner, still worth it if can get good number (those unclaimed normal number)

Hi guys, just a quick question. My cousin was offered the showroom car by the SA if he doesn't mind taking it. Do u all think its a good idea to take the showroom car or better to stay away from it and get a brand new unit?

Ok guys, understood. I will forward this feedbacks to him. Just to quote SnoWFisH, the showroom car is the one in display, not taken out for test drives. According to my cousin, the mileage was only 15km on the ODO.

Actually i came on the nite of 19/4 to buy kfc..but before i stepped into kfc, i saw so many ppl checkin' on preve & i decided to take a look of it..my tshirt was sweating like hell since i juz came back from jogging, but the the SA was delightful assisting & keep entertained me..then i juz booked the car without test drive...
Loan approved n juz waiting to get my plate num n most importantly, my preveeeeey..ehee

agree. why not just practise 1st come 1st serve. if colour is  an issue, so why we need to choose colour when making a booking during pre launch period although cant see a real colour on car. even in brochure. why?

ok la at least you got the car. colour 2nd issue. me book since 14 march, habuk pun tak nampak. SA just keep silent and stupidly give me a stupid reason.

I believe it is still first come first serve basis. What ever we say over here about the cable,fiber optic, Tan Sri etc are mere hearsay and speculation, nothing  more.

As I said previously, maybe the reason somebody got their car early because someone let go the car. I've given my example where I let go the car and someone down the line got it since he wanted the same colour. There is not cable, connection or Tan Sri here.

Regarding the production, I strongly believe the painting process goes batch by batch. Once setting is for black, Proton will produce a lot of blacks (more than the demand) before changing the colours. Proton can't simply change the colour setting between cars. They have to change between certain lot number.

This is happen to all other manufacturers. Last time, I've visited BMW factory at Munchen, they are doing the same for the painting procedure.

That is the reason some SAs will say, if you want to get cars quickly, don't specify the colour. In this case, whenever they have colour that doesnt belong to anyone, you can take the car.

totally agreed need to give us some valid reason on delay. u ppl so nice, got proton edar branch over there... here all is dealer, all get car from EON... alot of saga flx in the showroom lo... but why they make so many but no ppl buy lol..

Hmmm....want to comment about some paint issue here.

My genetic silver looks very nice.but at certain angle at my side passenger door can see three very blur patch of silver. I sent to Sierra Glow again. They assure me its already applied with Sierra Glow sealant i ask Mr Chong to help me again see if it is really because of the paint so they inspect again. by using light and water. they say if water don't stick at the door panel and come down very fast plus forming a small water droplets that is already been applied with sierra glow.

They use some very light compound to perform it again. Then clean it with their shampoo rinse with water then apply again the glass glow liquid on the surface. it is still the same. So when u guys receive your car. Please look at all angle. usually 20 degree to 15 degree angle you will be able to see it with help of some light. luckily only three very light small like 2 inch wide patch. blurish. base on Mr Chong, this is during production the color applied they did not wait it to dry properly or apply unevenly then straight away put clear coat that is why it become like that. But the surface is very flat no dirt or anything is just the color a bit blurish behind the clear coat.

and already got two small super small stone chips on the right hand side of passenger door. no matter how hard they try to restore cannot be restore...around 1mm to 2 mm deep scratch but not deep until the second coat. I think only the glassglow coat and the clear coat plus a bit of silver color chip off. they also try to use another compound to try smooth-en it out then applied sierra glow again but they cannot restore it.

So overall they already tried but not able to restore the chip off paint. The person handle this already got 5 to 6 years experience. Working with Mr Chong. Since Sierra Glow start operating he is already there. forget to get his name. I think not Malaysian..maybe Indonesian... not sure..

So check properly. Near to the paint and angle watch properly. check for stain or mark.

I duno mine is which batch but my chasis number ending with 1070..which means number 1070 car i think.

Bro, if the branch manager told you, u r the 1st order for the car, suddenly u saw the red preve at the branch and she told u, that is Tan Sri punya, ur have to wait for next allocation. What would u think?

After a few days of running around. There is a few things i want to point out not sure it applys to all preveans'.

park my car facing downhil. From P change to R before i press the accelerator pedal the car is going down. Is it all auto cars suppose to be stay put without moving infront? the hill gradient i think not that steep.... maybe 5% or 10% only... is it because of car heavy the cvt gear box not able to pull car behind?

Another thing is the sluggishness at start getting lesser...not sure why is bit more responsive.
anther thing is there is a slight vibration when going up hill traveling at around 80 or 90kph. rpm around 2200~2500.

CVT whinning is kinda loud too. i not sure consider loud or not but the airplane sound whooosssh is  kinda loud especially during down hill at high speed. if you dont press the accelerator during down hill the CVT whines loud.

Shouldn't it be the other way round? We adapt to car.

Yes, a reverse camera would be great cos the boot is so high you cannot really see behind even for a six footer like me.

about assemby line of cfe n iafm+, i dunno, but if not mistaken, diff assembly line, same output capacity. Since demand for cfe is higher than iafm+ unit, then it shud be understandable cfe unit is a bit late arriving compare to iafm+ unit. Dun have connection on assembly line,so,cant confirm it though, by the way, those who already receive the car, hows the welding point?

it can last up to 100k, being informed, during the testing, after 60k, the efficiency of the plugs will be less, it can effect performance a bit n fc. Thats why 60k is recommended. Its like the ngk r used in campro, it can last up to 40k, but optimum efficiency is only at 20k. Thats why recommended change at 20k.

Yup, thats already include in checklist. Can explain clearly on the messy part, is it the 2 pieces is not the same size, i mean the connection (the metal part, not the welding part)like as the pre prod part before, or it just the spot not nice?

Just ask ur passenger go down and eye sight for u.. Lailailailailai and wave hand. When reach limit, then put stop signal and bang 3 times on the boot cover together with shouting "Opppppssss!!"

for online, can refer to official prtn facebook(careful coz many fake one, so just enter prtn official website, click on the facebook link), thats how they connect with people online. As mentioned earlier, registered preve club officially, then go through prtn officially to be sign as prtn official. Many benefits can get actually, especially when doing gathering. Sometimes they did sponsored something for events under the club, not only on technical relation. Maybe can ask eocm on how they proceed it.
