The IM3 basic figures lineup is aimed at kids demographic ,which explains the lack of articulation and inclusion of interchangeable parts gimmick .

That way ,Hasbro hopes that kids will crank up their imagination to create a diversified range of new and weird IMs ,resulting in huge sales boost as kids purchase more of them .

As a plus point ,Hasbro gets to reduce labor costs involved in assembling the finished products .

Prolly a must buy for hardcore IM collectors .
But for the rest of us ,maybe one or two of the popular suits shown in the movie .

If IM2 basic figure lineup which features metallic paintjob and loads of articulation is not exactly selling like hot cakes ,to the point that the price per figure reduced to RM15 and later to a ridiculous RM4.90 ,what more can be said of IM3 ?

Damn ,this is like going back to the past ,in the 80s whereby the standard for action figures is 5 points of articulation .
Example being Star Wars ,M.A.S.K ,Sky Commander ,Dino Riders ,Robin Hood ,Captain Planet to the extent of the 5-6" line of Captain Power ,Thundercats ,MOTU ,TMNT ,Silverhawks etc .

So it looks like Prof X wave is delayed .

Puck is pitiful .Lack of elbows and knees .If Hasbro was able to include knee joints on a smaller scale figs like Transformers HA humans ,why not for Puck's sake ?Even Indy's Short Round ,being the shortest of the line was given full articulation .

Iron Man 3 basic figs ,selling at RM26.++ and Assemblers selling at RM42.90 .Easy pass for the lot .
Spotted Jurassic Park set which includes 1 action figure ,selling for RM109.90 .

No sign of latest MU wave at PG TRUs or Parkson .
